The processing section includes a first processing station group and a second processing station group. The production line further includes a conveyor to successively supply the book blocks in clocked operation to the processing stations. The conveyor includes a first conveying section assigned to the first processing station group, the first conveying section including a first individual drive, and a second conveying section assigned to the second processing station group, the second conveying section including a second individual drive. The production line further includes a control unit operatively connected to the first individual drive and second individual drive to change the clocking interval length along the processing section.

摘要： A binding machine with a tape comprises a table for putting a material to be bound, a tape passage groove formed on the table, and a guiding member in an arch shape provided above the tape passage groove. A loop formed by a tape of a predetermined size is formed along the guiding member. There is provided a tape receiving member which can be displaced to first and second positions. At least a part of the tape receiving member at the first position advances into the loop, to prevent the top of the loop from hanging.

摘要： A book structure is disclosed that is much easier to use than books of conventional construction. It can be used by individuals with impaired motor function and by young children who have not yet developed sufficient coordination to manipulate the pages of a conventional book. Each leaf of the book is of a rigid plastic construction with projections above and below the plane of the leaf for holding printed matter on cards. The projections also serve as spacers to separate the pages from one another to facilitate grasping a selected page. Each page further has a rigid tab projection to serve as a handle. A binder assembly permanently holds the leaves for easy turning and to lie flat at any opened page. The binder includes a handle for easier carrying. The assembly is of a smooth, non-toxic plastic material that resists destruction by young children. The printed matter cards may be replaced with new editions as required without the expense of binding each edition, since the book assembly is reusable.

摘要： Apparatus for feeding a cut portion of adhesive strip for sticking the back of a book block or the like has a path for longitudinally guiding the adhesive strip drawn from a roll. In the path, a severing blade is located above a working table upstream from a deposit means for the portion of adhesive strip. Laterally of the working table and parallel to the deposit means is a slide guide having a slide from which projects a gripper having a clamp for gripping the end of the adhesive strip which is held in a waiting position at the cutting location of the severing blade. The slide guide extends from the region of the severing blade to beyond the end of the deposit means and stops are provided in the course of the slide guide means for stopping the slide.

The stacking tray includes a tray base supported by an apparatus frame and a plate member disposed on the tray base for placing and supporting at least some of the sheets. The plate member is supported on a top surface of the tray base so as to be movable toward an abutment regulating member. A biasing device is provided between the plate member and the tray base to bias the plate member toward the abutment regulating member.

Driving means (19), control means, as well as a tilting device (18) are provided for transferring transport carriage (15) to a binding apparatus (21) which is arranged vertically to the strip path (13) and holds the sheet stack (22) such that the strip rests on the spine of the sheet stack in a centrally aligned position and is fixed by holding elements (23) of the binding apparatus (21).
