    Abstract: A first irrigation assembly includes a base plate having an upwardly curved sidewall and a planar annular peripheral flange. Spray outlets on the upwardly curved sidewall provide liquid spray to exterior portions of a wetsuit at a plurality of spray angles. Spray outlets on the annular peripheral flange provide liquid spray to exterior portions of the wetsuit at spray angles different from the spray angles of the spray outlets on the upwardly curved sidewall. A second irrigation assembly includes first and second curved pipes and an upper piping arrangement having major external surfaces. First and second flow junctions provide fluid flow connection between the curved pipes and the upper piping arrangement. Spray outlets arranged along the major external surfaces of the curved pipes and the upper piping arrangement provide liquid spray to upper and lower interior rear and front portions of the wetsuit.

    Abstract: A waterproof seal includes a flexible annular tube formed by an inner layer and an outer layer of a garment and surrounding a passage through which a human appendage is intended to protrude. A first cord is positioned in a cavity defined by the annular tube. The first cord has a first end, a second end and extends more than 180 degrees and less than 360 degrees around the passage with the first end and the second end exiting the annular tube. A second cord is positioned in the cavity defined by the annular tube. The second cord has a first end, a second end and extends more than 180 degrees and less than 360 degrees around the passage with the first end and the second end exiting the annular tube. The first cord and the second cord cumulatively cover more than 360 degrees around the passage to provide an effective water seal.

    Abstract: An apparatus for washing an article includes a container defining an internal chamber configured to receive the article, an inflow connector connectable to a source of pressurized fluid, a filter member disposed within the internal chamber between a base of the container and the inflow connector, and a lid sealingly engagable with an open upper end of the container and defining at least one opening. Pressurized fluid supplied to the internal chamber is urged upwardly through the internal chamber, through and around an article disposed therein, and out the at least one opening of the lid. As a result, salt retained within or on the article is expelled through the at least one opening of the lid and particulate on or within the article is collected or passed through the filter member. Systems incorporating the apparatus and methods of using the same are also provided.

    Abstract: A dry suit having detachable or permanent zippered compression flaps. The compression flaps can be disposed over the front or the back of a dry suit. The compression flaps are used to gather and hide excess dry suit materials and dry zipper ends under the compression flaps. The compression flaps form a tunnel around the wearer under which a kayak spray skirt or a kite boarding/surfboarding harness can be worn.

    Abstract: The dry suit is preferably manufactured as a one-part combination suit from a three-layer, waterproof but air-permeable fabric laminate with max. mass per unit area of 220 gr/m2, and it seamlessly encloses the feet as well. A waterproof zip fastener extends from the crotch to the top of the collar. The sleeves are each fitted with a waterproof zip fastener extending backward from the front edge of the cuff along the forearm. With said waterproof zip fastener, the collar and chest area as well as the sleeves and front sleeves can be opened to a certain extent, providing an effective cooling function, which makes wearing the dry suit in non-critical mission phases significantly more comfortable and less tiring. In addition, said dry suit has a total weight of less than 1.5 kg and is correspondingly easy to wear on the body.
