摘要: A propulsion system for a marine vessel includes a transom bracket configured to be connected to a transom of the marine vessel, a drive unit being rotatably connected with the transom bracket so as to be pivotable by a tilt arrangement from a lowered position into a raised position, or vice versa, about a pivot joint, and a trim arrangement being arranged between the transom bracket and the drive unit to adjust a trim angle of the drive unit when in the lowered position. A trim arrangement lock is arranged to be connected with the trim arrangement for a range of trim angles of the drive unit in the lowered position so as to prevent pivoting of the drive unit by the tilt arrangement inside the range of trim angles, and the trim arrangement lock is configured to be disconnected from the trim arrangement outside the range of trim angles so as to allow pivoting of the drive unit by the tilt arrangement.

摘要: A control system for a watercraft includes an outboard motor, a tilt mechanism, a sensor, and a computer. The outboard motor is attached to the watercraft. The tilt mechanism includes a tilt shaft and a tilt actuator to cause the outboard motor to pivot about the tilt shaft. The tilt mechanism is attached to the watercraft and supports the outboard motor such that the outboard motor is pivotable about the tilt shaft. The sensor is operable to detect tilt status data indicating a status of the tilt mechanism. The computer is configured or programmed to store a decision logic to determine whether or not a malfunction or trouble of the tilt mechanism has occurred, obtain the tilt status data, and determine whether or not the malfunction or trouble of the tilt mechanism has occurred based on the tilt status data with reference to the decision logic.

摘要: A method of automatically controlling trim position of a marine drive with a control system on a marine vessel includes receiving a user-selected command associated with wake surfing and then controlling a trim actuator to automatically position the marine drive in a tucked position, tucked position is between a vertical trim position and a minimum running trim position. Once a vessel condition of the marine vessel reaches a first threshold vessel condition the trim actuator is controlled to trim up the marine drive to a predetermined target trim position to generate wave behind the marine vessel. The first threshold vessel condition is at least one of a threshold vessel speed, a threshold engine speed, a threshold engine load, and a threshold vessel pitch.

摘要: A tiller is for controlling a marine drive. The tiller has a base bracket assembly and a tiller arm which is extends outwardly from the base bracket assembly. The base bracket assembly is configured to facilitate yaw adjustment of the tiller arm, in particular into and between a variety of yaw positions relative to the base bracket assembly. The tiller arm has a grip restraining device which is located on the bottom of the middle portion of the tiller arm and is manually accessible from both sides of the tiller arm. The grip restraining device is specially configured to selectively restrain rotation of a hand grip on the outer end of the tiller arm. The tiller arm also has a tilt mechanism which facilitates tilting of the tiller arm relative to the base bracket assembly into and between a variety of tilt positions, including a straight upward tilt position and a straight downward tilt position.
