摘要： An apparatus is arranged for packaging sheet material, in particular banknotes, vouchers, checks, separation cards, etc., with a packaging device, packaging material dispensed from a roll for packaging the sheet material, and a control device controlling the apparatus. A monitoring device is provided for the packaging material, and the control device evaluates a signal of the monitoring device during the packaging of sheet material, in order to derive therefrom whether packaging material is present on the roll.

摘要： The invention provides a stack comprising a plurality of absorbent sheets stacked in facing arrangement. The stack is bound along its top edge by at least one line of stitches comprising a plurality of spaced apart stitch holes and a thread disposed therein. Individual sheets further comprise a line of perforations comprising a plurality of spaced apart perforation holes. The line of stitches and the line of perforations are such that there is generally a one-to-one numerical correspondence amongst at least a majority of the plurality of stitch holes and perforation holes.

摘要： A strapping apparatus has a frame, a single drive motor carried on the frame and having an output shaft, a feed roller connected to the motor and rotatable on the frame, and a tightening roller connected to the motor and rotatable on the frame. A strap from a supply is spanned over and passes between the feed and tightening roller to the object. A lever is pivoted on the frame parallel to the feed and tightening axes for movement between two angularly offset end positions. A feed counter roller freely rotatable on the lever is engageable in one of the end positions with the feed roller to pinch and advance the strap toward the object, and a tightening counter roller rotatable on the lever is engageable in the other of the end positions with the tightening roller to pinch and pull the strap away from the object.

The setting device sets a denomination of paper sheets to be strapped. The determination device determines a color of a strap band to strap a bundle of the paper sheets, based on the denomination. The strap band supply device supplies strap bands from a first strap band reel previously stored. The acquisition device acquires an image of the first strap band reel. The color decision device decides a color of the first strap band reel, based on the image. The warning presentation device presents a warning if the color of the first strap band reel is different from the color determined by the determination device.

The bundling stacker 4 includes: a stage 41 configured to support the banknotes B in their thickness direction; and a guide 42 facing one side of the banknotes B and configured to regulate movement of the banknotes B in a predetermined regulation direction which is parallel to a surface of the banknotes B. The guide 42 moves such that while the banknotes B are removed from the bundling stacker 4, a gap G is formed in the regulation direction between the guide 42 and the one side of the banknotes B.

摘要： Presently disclosed embodiments are directed to systems and methods for bundling smaller stacks of bank notes into larger sized bundles that are efficient for transportation. The system may include an in-line bundler disposed along pockets of a currency processor for receiving stacks of bank notes directly from the pocket. That way, the smaller stacks of bank notes do not have to be removed from the currency processor and transported to a separate bundler machine. Instead, the currency processor features a desired number of bundler machines disposed in-line with the corresponding pockets where the bank notes are initially received and stacked. This arrangement may enable efficient stacking and bundling of bank notes sorted via the currency processor.

摘要： A method of manufacturing packaged curved edge cigarette rolling papers including stacking a cigarette rolling paper blanks to form a leaf stack. The leaf stack is enclosed within a folded cover to form a covered leaf stack. A band is wrapped around the covered leaf stack to hold the leaf stack in alignment with the cover while the cover and leaf stack is die cut to form packaged curved edge cigarette rolling papers. The curved edge is continuous arc, for example an elliptical arc which eliminates the corners that can interfere with cigarette hand rolling.
