    摘要: A cutting-off structure of a packer includes a main body having one side provided with a strap-cutting device. The strap-cutting device has a cutter tube formed with an application section and a combination section, and the application section is provided with a first strap-cutting block and a second strap-cutting block and formed with a strap-guiding groove and a strap-cutting opening. The first strap-cutting block is disposed with a strap-cutting surface at one side opposite to the strap-cutting opening for threadably assembling a cutting unit thereon, which can be assembled with or disassembled from the strap-cutting surface. By so designing, the strap-cutting surface of a packer in the present invention enables a user to cut off packing straps quickly and accurately through the strap-cutting opening and the replaceable cutting unit, convenient in use and able to lower cost.

    摘要: A banding device includes a frame. A feeding assembly is mounted on the frame for feeding elastic tubing into the frame. A transfer assembly disposed within the frame includes transfer arm and fingers. The fingers receive the rubber tubing as fed. A cutting assembly is disposed between the transfer assembly and the feeding assembly for cutting the tubing into bands. The fingers of the transfer assembly move between a first closed position for receiving the band and a second open position for opening the band. The transfer arm is moveable between a first position for receiving the band and a second position for transferring the band. A banding assembly disposed at the second position receives the band from the transfer assembly. The banding assembly stretches the band and receives an item to be bundled within the band. The banding assembly releases the band about the bundle.

    摘要: A tying machine for tying an article, such as an open part of a bag, includes an operating member connected to a drive shaft which in turn is connected to a link mechanism. A rack member is connected pivotally to the link mechanism and engages a single-direction gear which drives a rotary shaft and a cam member. The cam member actuates a wire bending unit, a wire cutting unit, and a wire twisting unit. A returning spring is associated with the drive shaft. The operations of the link mechanism and the rack member may be reversed by turning the operating member to rectify malfunctions.

The wrapping unit (4) comprises a means (17) for feeding the front end portion of the web section (9), as seen in the feeding direction, to a site adjacent to the circumferential surface of the roll of bags (13). In addition, the wrapping unit (4) comprises a means (11, 14) which is adapted to grip the roll of bags (13) and the adjacent front end portion of the web section (9) as well as to rotate the roll of bags (13) about its longitudinal axis so as to wind the web section (9) round it. The wrapping unit (4) further has means for connecting the rear end portion of the web section (9) to the web section (9) wound round the roll of bags. A device of the above type is advantageously utilised in a method for applying a wrapping round a cyclindrical roll of bags.

    摘要: A device for holding and bundling newspaper is made essentially of bent wire and comprises two end walls and a bottom wall for engaging the two sides and bottom, respectively, of a stack of newspapers placed therein. The newspapers carried by the device extend outwardly beyond the bottom wall of the device at both of their ends so that the end portions of the stack are free to receive cord passed therearound for tying the stack into a bundle. Prior to bundling the device holds the newspapers in a cupped condition so as to inhibit downward sag of their unsupported end portions, and the device includes a container for a ball of cord used in tying the bundles.

    摘要: A machine for automatically assembling a binding clip to one extremity of a strip of metal material, measuring a desired length of the strip material and severing the desired length of strip material from a storage roll. The machine is provided with a strip guide bar having a strip guide groove formed therein. A brake mechanism, a strip drive mechanism, and a strip extremity immobilizing mechanism, are disposed adjacent the strip guide groove to control movement of the strip material. A strip cutter, a strip binding apparatus, and a clip fastening device are provided adjacent the strip guide groove to perform cutting, bending, and fastening operations on the strip material. A clip orienting and feed device is provided to orient binding clips so that a clip may be connected to the free extremity of the strip material. Control of the entire mechanism is achieved by an adjustable sequence timing control device which is responsive to linear movement of the strip material being driven.
