摘要: An unmanned aerial vehicle system includes an unmanned aerial vehicle, a user input device, and ground station. The user input device is configured to generate a signal and control the unmanned aerial vehicle based on the generated signal. The ground station is coupled to the unmanned aerial vehicle via a tether assembly. The ground station includes a motorized spool and a controller. The motorized spool is coupled to the tether assembly and configured to electromechanically control spooling and unspooling of a tether of the tether assembly. The controller is configured to control operation of the motorized spool based on an anticipated movement of the unmanned aerial vehicle.

摘要: A tether management system is disclosed. The tether management system includes a spool, a tension sensor, a controller and a moveable pulley. The spool is rotatable to reel in and reel out a tether. The tension sensor measures a tension of the tether. The controller receives a desired tension of the tether and controls the rotation of the spool to reel in and reel out the tether based on a difference between a measured tension from the tension sensor and the desired tension of the tether. The moveable pulley is disposed to engage tether between the spool and the tension sensor. The moveable pulley being able to be biased and moveable along a linear path to adjust a tension of the tether when the tension of the tether deviates from the desired tension. A method for managing tether is also disclosed.

摘要: Towing winch system 1 for controlling a render and recovery of a towline during a towing operation. The towing winch system has a control unit 6 for controlling a drive 4 and a brake 5 for respectively driving and braking the winding drum. The drive 4 comprises a plurality of brushless alternating current motors 40 which each engages in one stage by a motor gear wheel 71 to a gear wheel 70 mounted to the winding drum 3. The brake 5 comprises a plurality of brake calipers 51 which each are engageable to a brake disc 50 mounted to the winding drum 3. The drivetrain of the plurality of brushless AC motors 40, one stage gear 7 and the plurality of brake calipers 51 form a powerful and robust structure to operate the towing winch system 1 under severe conditions which may occur in a towing operation.

摘要: The present invention is provided with: a manipulation unit; a winch device that operates with an actuation mode of either a high speed mode or a low speed mode, and winds in or reels out a wire rope; a selection unit for an operator to select either the high speed mode or the low speed mode; a load calculation unit calculating a suspended load; a tension calculation unit calculating the tension of the wire rope; and a control unit controlling the actuation of the winch device. If the mode selected by the selection unit is the high speed mode, the manipulation unit is manipulated from a neutral state to a non-neutral state, and the suspended load is smaller than a load threshold and the tension is smaller than a tension threshold, the control unit controls the winch device so as to operate in the high speed mode.

摘要: Provided is an electric winch apparatus capable of preventing irregular winding of a wire rope caused by landing of a hoisted-down suspended load. The electric winch apparatus includes a winch drum (5) around which a wire rope (2) is wound, an electric motor (8) which rotates the winch drum (5), an operation lever (13a), a measurement unit (18) which measures a tension index value corresponding to a tension in the wire rope (2), and a controller (12) which controls motion of the electric motor (8). The controller (12) stops motion of the electric motor (8) when an operation in a lowering operation direction is applied the operation lever (13a) and a tension average value as an average value of a tension in the wire rope (2) becomes less than or equal to a predetermined tension reference value, the average value of the tension corresponding to an average value of the tension index value in a predetermined period.
