    摘要: A method is disclosed of in-situ retention and buffering of an amount of water in soil to support the growth of an agricultural crop. The method comprises the step of adding an effective amount of a hydrogel material as a water retention agent during planting of seed in the soil. The hydrogel material including an insoluble, cross-linked carboxymethyl cellulose. Once penetration of water into the soil is allowed after the planting of seed, a proportion of the water which penetrates the soil is absorbed by the hydrogel material and, over time, the absorbed water is released by diffusion into the soil to support the growth of the agricultural crop. Also disclosed is the hydrogel material which comprises said carboxymethyl cellulose which has been cross-linked with a cross-linking polymer from the group consisting of: an amine monomer; an amide monomer; and an amine-amide co-polymer.

    摘要: A concentrated composition for plant nutrition. The composition includes a polymeric stabilizing agent having a high number of polar hydrophilic groups, such as microfibrillated cellulose (MFC), comprising calcium ions, sulfate ions and salts of other elements for plant nutrition. The concentration of calcium ions and sulfate ions and other essential elements exceeds the concentration corresponding to the normal solubility of calcium sulfate and other insoluble salts in water. The proportion of the polymeric stabilizing agent having a high number of polar hydrophilic groups is within a range of 1% and 99% w/w of the suspension. The availability of the nutrient elements is assured within a pH range of 1 to 13.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a method for producing an organic fertilizer with humic substance properties by oxidizing and ammonifying lignite, wherein the organic fertilizer has a nitrogen content of up to 8 wt. %, based on the dry weight of the fertilizer, and a C/N ratio of 7 to 15, which is characterized in that the method is carried out as a continuous method and comprises the following steps: a) dispersing the lignite and aqueous ammonia solution in a dispersing circuit having a dispersing device, a recirculation container, and a recirculation pump; b) oxidizing the suspension from step a) with an oxygen-containing oxidizing agent at a temperature of 50° C.; and d) cooling the dried product obtained in step c).
