摘要: Processes for acylating an aromatic compound are provided. In embodiments, such a process comprises combining an aromatic compound, an acylating agent, and a catalyst composition under conditions to induce acylation of the aromatic compound with the acylating agent, the catalyst composition comprising components selected from the group consisting of a sulfonic acid of formula R—SO3H, wherein R is a linear alkyl group substituted with one or more halogen atoms; an ionic liquid and an acid; an acid and a base capable of forming an ionic liquid with the acid; an ionic liquid, an acid, and an aromatic; and an acid, a base capable of forming an ionic liquid with the acid, and an aromatic. The ionic liquid does not comprise a metal halide and the catalyst composition is free of a metal halide and the aromatic, if present in the catalyst composition, is not the aromatic compound being acylated.

摘要: A method for continuous synthesis of acylnaphthalene includes: mixing a raw solution containing 2-methylnaphthalene with an acylation liquid to obtain an acylation reaction liquid with a molar ratio of the 2-methylnaphthalene:the acylation agent:the Lewis catalyst of 1:1.3:1.5; adding the acylation reaction liquid into a microchannel reactor and a plurality of kettle reactors connected in series to perform acylation reaction, performing hydrolysis reaction on the acylation reaction liquid immediately after the acylation reaction liquid flows out of the plurality of kettle reactors to obtain a mixed solution, and subjecting the mixed solution to separation, rectification and crystallization, to obtain 2-methyl-6-propionylnaphthalene.

摘要: A method for manufacturing 1,4-bis(4-phenoxybenzoyl)benzene, including: reacting terephthaloyl chloride with diphenyl ether in the presence of a Lewis acid, so as to obtain a product mixture including 1,4-bis(4-phenoxybenzoyl)benzene-Lewis acid complex, wherein the 1,4-bis(4-phenoxybenzoyl)benzene-Lewis acid complex is, at least partly, in the form of a precipitate; carrying out a solid/liquid separation of the product mixture to obtain a cake comprising the 1,4-bis(4-phenoxybenzoyl)benzene-Lewis acid complex precipitate; putting the cake in contact with a decomplexing solvent, wherein the decomplexing solvent is a protic solvent, so as to dissociate the 1,4-bis(4-phenoxybenzoyl)benzene-Lewis acid complex into 1,4-bis(4-phenoxybenzoyl)benzene; and, recovering the 1,4-bis(4-phenoxybenzoyl)benzene. Also, a method for manufacturing a polyaryletherketone polymer starting from 1,4-bis(4-phenoxybenzoyl)benzene manufactured by the above method.
