    摘要: A method for operating a textile machine is provided to produce roving from a fiber bundle with a consolidating means, the roving having a protective twist. The produced roving is wound onto a tube with a winding device. During the winding process, the roving is guided a guide element arranged between the consolidating means and the tube, wherein the guide element exerts a decelerating effect on the roving. The decelerating effect is controlled during operation of the textile machine such that the decelerating effect is lower during a start procedure while the roving leaving the consolidating means is brought into contact with a tube or during a tube change while a wound tube is replaced by an empty tube than during a winding process that takes place between the start procedure and the tube change.

    摘要: A loading tube has Japanese cotton placed within a polymer tube. The tube has a hollow, cylindrical form with a tip and an opposite tail. The Japanese cotton advances through the tube exiting at the tip and withdrawing from the tail. The tube has a sidewall with a thickness and an inner diameter suitable for containing Japanese cotton and then advancing it into an atomizer. The outer diameter of the tube cooperates with an aperture in the coil of the atomizer. The tip and the tail have a rim with a square cut. The tube has its size that relates its length to its inner diameter, and to its thickness within a range. The tube utilizes polypropylene for its construction. Alternative fibrous material may be substituted for Japanese cotton.

The condensing arrangement comprises a sliding surface having a suction slit extending essentially in a fiber strand transport direction, as well as a perforated transport belt which transports the fiber strand over the sliding surface and the suction slit. The sliding surface is the outer contour of a hollow profile, to which a suction device is connected. The transport belt consists of such a thin material that the fiber strand is disposed on the sliding surface and the suction slit at practically no distance thereto. The transport belt is preferably made from polyamide multifilament yarns.

A limited compaction zone is formed by a shield within a suction rotor and designed to apply suction only to a limited portion of the perforated periphery thereof. The pressing roller bears against the suction rotor at the downstream side of the compaction zone.
