A half-slide matched device and its application for ultra-smoothly reconstructing yarn hairy structure belong to a textile processing field. According to the half-slide matched device of the present invention, a vortex device static part and a vortex device moving part are matched. In practice, multiple devices are connected in tandem. When yarn moves, the parts of half-slide matched device are closed, for efficiently constraining and utilizing the vortex airflow. A directional jet tube one-directionally stretches hairiness on yarn surface to avoid hairiness random dispersion and entanglement, remove yarn surface impurities. Tandem-connected devices repeatedly superimpose and strengthen the reconstructed ultra-smooth yarn structure. The half-slide matched device can be opened when the yarn breaks, which facilitates splicing and maintenance. The half-slide matched device has a reasonable structure and is very convenient for wide application.

A twist tube for a false twist device is described which is of the type wherein textile yarn being textured passes through a straight tubular part to a transverse pin of hard material round which the yarn is wound once prior to leaving the tube. To avoid ballooning at very high rotational speeds of the twist tube about its axis, the pin is fixed in the tubular part with its axis displaced laterally with respect to the tube axis by a distance which is a fraction of the pin diameter. Between its cylindrical ends the pin is formed with a cylindrical concave surface providing a gap with respect to the tube axis of a width of the order of half the yarn thickness. To aid threading, openings are provided on opposite sides of the tubular part and the one nearest the laterally displaced pin is enlarged to balance the twist tube about its axis.

A high speed rotary body for false-twisting comprising a tubular body in the hollow portion of which a pin element is perpendicularly fixed. The yarn to be crimped is fed into the hollow portion, looped with one turn around the pin element and delivered to a take-up bobbin. The pin element is integrally formed with three portions i.e. a smaller cylinder, a larger cylinder at one of the ends of the smaller cylinder and a truncated conical portion at the other end thereof. The intersection of the smaller and larger cylinders forms a step. When the incoming yarn portion precedes to touch the step, this portion occupies the center of the tubular body so as not to balloon during the crimping operation.

A method and an apparatus for producing crimped filament yarns, said apparatus comprising at least one first twister member and at least one second twister member, each of said twister members having a work surface made of a synthetic rubber having a relatively small friction coefficient therebetween. These twister members are arranged so that their work surfaces cross each other at a selectable angle in contact relationship to provide at least one crossing zone for nipping therebetween at least one thermoplastic filament yarn which is fed to twist this filament yarn between the contacting work surfaces successively and at the same time to urge this filament to discharge from this crossing zone successively as the twister members are driven. This method and apparatus allow filament yarns to be imparted desired false-twisting effect, practically without being damaged and without causing uneven twists, at a high operation rate of 800 - 1000 meters per minute.

The layer protects the friction ring from the spinning oil and the slinger edge acts to fling off by centrifugal force that oil which collects around the periphery of the friction roller so that the running surface of the friction ring remains unaffected.In one embodiment the slinger edge projects radially beyond the running surface of the friction ring and there is a peripheral groove on the associated twist tube which cooperates with the slinger edge in the manner of a labyrinth seal, which increases the protection against adverse influences from the spinning oil.
