摘要: The invention provides a heavy-duty door lock (22) adapted for locking a door (10) of an intermodal container (12) comprising an internal lock member (24) arranged within the container (12) so as to lock a door (10) from with inside the container (12), the internal lock member (24) being displaceable between a locked and unlocked position; actuating means (26) arranged within the container (12) for displacing the internal lock member (24) between the locked and unlocked positions; and a locking mechanism (28) including an internal lock (52) which is located within the container (12) and which in a locked position prevents the actuating means (26) from displacing the internal lock member (24), and in an unlocked position allows the actuating means (26) to displace the internal lock member (24); and an external lock (54) which is located on the outside of a door (10) of the container (12) and which operatively displaces the internal lock (52) between the locked and unlocked positions.

The sloped rear end forms a chute through which meat by-products can be poured. The chute extends for a distance rearwardly of the trailer's rear wheel assembly.

摘要: A drive arrangement for adjusting a flap, in particular a tailgate, of a motor vehicle, which in the mounted state is mounted on a body of the motor vehicle so as to be pivotable about a flap pivot axis and which can be adjusted between an open position and a closed position over a pivot angle. It is proposed that the drive arrangement comprises a torsion spring arrangement having a torsion spring, the torsion spring being adapted to generate a torsional torque about a torsion axis, that the torsion axis is arranged with an offset to the flap pivot axis, and that the drive arrangement comprises a first gear unit which converts the torsional torque into a supporting force or torque acting on the flap in the direction of the closed position or in the direction of the open position thereof.

摘要: Cargo locks are general massive, virtually armor plate grade materials, cables, tags, etc. hung on the outside of any configuration of cargo containers, enclosed cargo trucks, vans, semi-trailers, boxcars, etc. A few internal cargo area lock systems have been offered but are cost prohibitive, massive and not practical for other than a stationary installation. This makes them impractical for cargo containers, boxcars, and most semi-trailers because they are rarely re-used by the same party who invested in an elaborate “stationary” lock system. In a further development of U.S. Pat. No. 9,683,394, virtually anyone can install this flexible Lock Mechanism and Electronic Control (LM&EC) and achieve a secured cargo area by making all locks inaccessible from the outside. Similarly, the LM&EC system can be readily removed for reuse elsewhere or its access and control components modified to adapt to the reuse application or improve security for the present application.

摘要: Enhanced methods and systems for securing and monitoring cargo are described. Some examples provide a cargo monitoring system (“CMS”) that is configured to track, identify, and report about anomalous conditions or events related to cargo shipments. The CMS may include a software system that receives conditions information from electromechanical locks that secure cargo. The locks include data terminals that facilitate near real time monitoring of cargo. The electromechanical locks are installed on the bars or other mechanism (e.g., door rings) that lock the doors of a cargo container, train car, van door, or the like. The data terminals include logic that is configured to transmit to the CMS information about current conditions, such as location, temperature, lock status (e.g., open, closed), tamper attempts, and the like. The cargo monitoring system interprets the received information and performs various actions based thereon, such as to transmit alerts if anomalous conditions are detected.

摘要: Disclosed is a closure for a door of a shipping container. The closure includes a housing, an outside handle pivotally mounted relative to the housing, an inside handle pivotally mounted relative to the housing, and a catch connected to the inside handle. The closure is configured so that movement of the inside handle between a first position and a second position causes corresponding movement of the catch. A locking mechanism can releasably fix the inside handle relative to the outside handle, such that when in a locked position rotation of the outside handle causes corresponding rotation of the inside handle and when in an unlocked position the inside handle can be rotated independently of the outside handle.

摘要: A locking device for preferred securement to the locking bars located on the doors of shipping container. The device includes a main frame and two preferably J-shaped plates. The a hub portion along with a first plate define an first securement area for the locking device to a first locking bar and a movable member along with a second plate define a second securement area for the second locking bar. A lock having a main shaft is inserted into the main frame and prevents the plates from being pulled outward. The lock is maintain in positioned by a solenoid which is disposed within a portion of the main frame in a closed/locked position preventing the lock and main shaft from being pulled out of the main frame. Upon receipt of an authorized remote command or password the solenoid is caused to be retracted allowing the main shaft to be move and freeing the two plates so that they can be pulled outwards allowing the locking device to be removed from the locking bars.
