摘要： One method includes temporarily sealing and isolating a portion of a wellbore with a reusable sealing and isolation element, performing a fracturing process in the portion of the wellbore that is isolated, and after the fracturing process is complete, unsealing or de-isolating the portion of the wellbore by temporarily changing a configuration of the reusable sealing and isolation element. Use of the reusable sealing and isolation element may reduce, or eliminate, the need for remediation operations, such as the removal of sealing plugs.

摘要： An electric motor-actuated tractor (e-Tractor) apparatus and method for use in downhole operations. The apparatus includes a power subassembly, a tractor subassembly and one or more gripper subassemblies and can be: run in a single or multiple e-Tractor configuration; run in either intermittent-motion tractoring mode or continuous-motion tractoring mode with the ability to switch between the two modes; used to generate both distal and proximal longitudinal forces to move the run-in string into or out of the wellbore; repeatedly activated and deactivated without run-in string manipulation or hydraulic pressure; and combined with tensiometer and other sensor package options to provide real-time data to the surface to optimize tractoring operations. The apparatus and method are well-suited for application in an c-coil conveyed workover or completion system, and for use in extended reach laterals in horizontal wells.

摘要： A downhole device delivery and drive transfer system includes a sub which is arranged to attach to a drill string and a tool which is configured to enable it to travel through the drill string and releasably couple to the sub. The sub and the tool are arranged so that when they are releasably coupled to each other torque imparted to the drill string is transferred by the sub to the tool. The tool is arranged to carry one or more devices for performing one or more downhole functions such as core drilling, hole reaming or wedge placement for directional drilling. The system also has a guide mechanism that operates between the sub and the tool to guide the tool to a known rotational orientation relative to the sub as the tool travels into the sub. A fluid control system controls the flow of fluid through the tool through a downhole outlet and a plurality of ports intermediate opposite ends of the tool.

摘要： A drill pipe string conveyed retrievable plug system has a central through bore. The plug system includes a drill pipe string; a control section; a running tool with a connector at a lower end of a drill pipe string with the control section, and a top connector on a mechanical plug section with a bridge plug. The mechanical plug section includes a mandrel with the through bore, a ball valve arranged for closing the through bore, and a packer sleeve on the mandrel with slips and a packer element. The control section includes an electric supply, an electric control unit, and sensors connected to the electric control unit. The mechanical plug section includes a motor controlled by the electrical control unit. The motor is arranged to turn a selector ring to a selected first rotational position so as for allowing a piston sleeve to slide to an axial first stop position in order for opening to fluid channels through the mandrel from the through bore to the packer sleeve. The pressure in the through bore can be set to the pressure of the packer sleeve in a surrounding casing.
