    摘要: A fuel delivery system for a vehicle having an engine includes a fuel injection system, a fuel supply line configured to supply fuel from to the fuel injection system, and a fuel pressure sensor. An active expansion chamber (AEC) accumulator is fluidly coupled to the fuel supply line and includes a housing defining an interior chamber and an adjustable expansion chamber, a plunger assembly separating the interior chamber and the adjustable expansion chamber, and an actuator configured to selectively move the plunger assembly to actively adjust a volume of the adjustable expansion chamber. A controller is configured to detect a pressure change condition in the fuel delivery system and, in response, automatically adjust the volume of the adjustable expansion chamber to maintain the pressure of the fuel delivery system below a predetermined threshold to thereby facilitate preventing fuel leakage at the fuel injectors when the engine is shut off.

    摘要: A method for controlling fuel injection to an engine may include calculating an amount of air passing through a throttle, which is actually controlled, from a calculated amount of air in an intake manifold, which is calculated from a pressure value detected by a pressure sensor installed in the intake manifold connecting the throttle and a cylinder to each other, and a calculated pressure change in the intake manifold. The method may further include predicting an actual amount of air to be sucked into the cylinder when mixed with fuel from the calculated amount of air in the intake manifold and the calculated amount of air passing through the throttle. The method may also include injecting an amount of fuel according to the predicted actual amount of air to be sucked into the cylinder.

    摘要: The purpose of the present invention is to detect variations between the quantities of fuel injected into cylinders by fuel injection devices and correct the fuel injection quantity variation while minimizing the computational load on a drive device and the level of performance required of a pressure sensor. A drive device for fuel injection devices according to the present invention performs control wherein movable valves are driven so that predetermined quantities of fuel are injected by applying, for the duration of a set energization time, a current that will reach an energization current to solenoids of a plurality of fuel injection devices which open/close fuel flow paths. The drive device is characterized in that the set energization time or energization current is corrected on the basis of a pressure detection value from a pressure sensor that is attached to a fuel supply pipe disposed upstream of the plurality of fuel injection devices.

    摘要: A booster circuit installed in a fuel injection device of an internal combustion engine, wherein malfunctions and characteristic changes of the booster circuit are detected, among which the detection distinguishes between decreases in capacity caused by deterioration or broken wires in a booster capacitor, and failures of a current monitor circuit, coil, externally connected fuel injection valve, and other components. The range of decrease in boost voltage when the fuel injection valve is opened is monitored, as is the range of increase per switch performed in order to restore the boost voltage. This makes it possible to detect malfunctions and characteristic changes of the booster circuit.
