摘要: A fuel delivery system for a vehicle having an engine configured to selectively operate between a port fuel injection (PFI) mode, a gasoline direct injection (GDI) mode, and a port and direct fuel injection (PDI) mode. The fuel delivery system includes a PFI system including plurality of PFI injectors configured to supply fuel to the engine during the PFI mode, and a GDI system including a plurality of GDI injectors configured to supply fuel to the engine during the GDI mode. A fuel system monitor is configured to monitor the fuel delivery system when operating in the PFI mode, and attribute any fuel delivery system malfunctions occurring during the PFI mode to the PFI system alone, and monitor the fuel delivery system when operating in the GDI mode, and attribute any fuel delivery system malfunctions occurring during the GDI mode to the GDI system alone.

摘要: In accordance with an exemplary embodiment, a method is provided for controlling operation of an engine of a vehicle during an idle mode of operation for the engine, the engine having a plurality of different types of fuel injectors and a combustion chamber, including: obtaining, via one or more first sensors of the vehicle, first sensor data as to a speed of the vehicle; obtaining, via one or more second sensors of the vehicle, second sensor data as to a measure of roughness of the engine; and adjusting, via instructions provided by a processor of the vehicle, a fuel injection ratio of respective amounts of fuel provided by the plurality of different types of fuel injectors to the combustion chamber, based on both the speed of the vehicle and the measure of roughness of the engine.

摘要: Provided is a fuel injection device and a control unit therefor which enable reliable ignition even in a case where fuel pressure is low immediately after starting an engine.In the control unit for controlling an injector injecting fuel into an internal combustion engine, a plurality of injectors is provided in the internal combustion engine, a static flow rate of a first injector is configured to be smaller than a static flow rate of a second injector. In a case where a fuel pressure of fuel supplied by a pressurizing unit is lower than a set value set lower than a fuel pressure in warming up, an injection ratio of the first injector is controlled to increase according to a difference between a fuel pressure of fuel from the pressurizing unit and a fuel pressure in warming up.

The first deactivating GDI fuel pump assembly is configured to selectively transition between an activated mode and a deactivated mode.

摘要: A system and method for injecting fuel into an engine is provided where a low-pressure fuel pump is connected in fluid communication with at least one port fuel injector and a high-pressure fuel pump is connected in fluid communication with at least one direct fuel injector. The port fuel injector is disposed along an intake path of the engine and the direct fuel injector is disposed adjacent a cylinder of the engine. A lost motion lifter selectively couples the high-pressure fuel pump and the engine. A pump deactivation module switches the lost motion lifter to selectively deactivate the high-pressure fuel pump from the engine in response to partial load operation of the engine. The pump deactivation module may additionally switch the port fuel injector to an activated state and the direct fuel injector to a deactivated state.

摘要: The control device includes an operation state detector, an intake manifold pressure detector, an air humidity detector, an air temperature detector, an atmospheric pressure detector, and a controller that controls the engine output on the basis of detection results of the detectors. The controller generates humidity information on the air which is taken in by the internal combustion engine, from the humidity, temperature, and atmospheric pressure, calculates a dry air partial pressure by correcting the pressure detected by the intake manifold pressure detector, by using the humidity information, and controls the engine output by taking the pressure detected by the intake manifold pressure detector as a wet air pressure and selecting, according to a control element, either one of the wet air pressure and the dry air partial pressure as a pressure to be used for the engine output control.

摘要: The disclosure provides a system and method for determining an amount of fuel injected or delivered by a single fuel injector in an internal combustion engine by generating one fuel injection event after the engine has stopped operating. The fuel delivered is statistically analyzed in comparison with a commanded fuel delivery amounts to determine the suitability of fuel injector on-time calibration for the analyzed fuel injector. If the fuel delivered deviates from the commanded amount of fuel delivery by a predetermined value, the fuel injector on-time calibration for the analyzed fuel injector is changed.

摘要: To provide a controller and a control method, for an internal combustion engine, that can detect occurrence of knocking appropriately, even though the frequency distribution of the knock signal is distorted according to the occurrence state of knocking. The controller for the internal combustion engine calculates the background level by processing a low pass filter to the knock signal; and performs a low side frequency increase which makes a low side frequency, which is a cutoff frequency of the low pass filter in the case where the knock signal is smaller than an output value of the low pass filter, higher than a high side frequency, which is a cutoff frequency of the low pass filter in the case where the knock signal is larger than the output value of the low pass filter.

摘要: A uniflow-scavenging-type two-cycle engine includes: a cylinder; a piston that slides in the cylinder; an exhaust port that is provided at a first end of the cylinder; an exhaust valve that opens and closes the exhaust port; a scavenging port that is provided in an inner circumferential surface of a second end of the cylinder in the stroke direction of the piston and inhales an active gas into a combustion chamber in accordance with a sliding movement of the piston; a plurality of fuel injection valves that inject a fuel gas to the active gas, which has been drawn in from the scavenging port to the combustion chamber, to thereby generate a premixed gas; and a fuel injection control unit that varies injection directions of fuel gas injected from a part or all of the fuel injection valves.

摘要: A fuel injection system for an engine, the fuel injection system includes injectors and an electronic control unit. The injectors include needle valves; and the ECU is configured to: (i) execute partial lift injection and full lift injection with the injectors, the partial lift injection being injection during which the needle valve does not reach a fully-open state and the full lift injection being injection during which the needle valve reaches the fully-open state; (ii) operate the engine in a partial lift injection region where the injection of a required injection amount of a fuel is shared by the partial lift injection and the full lift injection; and (iii) perform the amount of correction of the required injection amount with respect to the injection amount shared by the full lift injection when the required injection amount is corrected while the engine is operated in the partial lift injection region.
