摘要: When an intake air amount is greater than or equal to the lower limit intake air amount and less than or equal to the upper limit intake air amount, a CPU sets, from the first cylinder group that increases a detection value of an upstream air-fuel ratio sensor, one of cylinders that has the smallest cutoff frequency, which is stored in a storage device, as a cylinder to which the supply of fuel will be cut off. Then, the CPU obtains the maximum value of an upstream air-fuel ratio as a maximum air-fuel ratio. When the maximum air-fuel ratio is greater than a determination value, the CPU determines that specific cylinder fuel cutoff control is normal. When the maximum air-fuel ratio is less than or equal to the determination value, the CPU determines that the specific cylinder fuel cutoff control is anomalous.

摘要: Systems and methods for aftertreatment system thermal management using cylinder deactivation and/or intake-air throttling are disclosed. Systems and methods for thermal management of an aftertreatment system are provided herein. A controller coupled to an engine and an exhaust aftertreatment system is configured to: receive a first temperature value associated with the exhaust aftertreatment system and a second temperature value associated with the engine; determine, based on comparing the first temperature value to a first threshold, a thermal management mode including a first thermal management mode or a second thermal management mode; determine, responsive to determining the thermal management mode and based on comparing the second temperature value to a second threshold, an operating mode for the thermal management mode including at least one of a first operating mode or a second operating mode; and initiate the at least one of the first or the second operating mode.

摘要: A method for adjusting a fuel mass to be injected into an internal combustion engine. The internal combustion engine including an intake tract, at least one cylinder, and an exhaust tract. In the method, an air mass introduced into the internal combustion engine is ascertained and a fuel mass to be injected into the internal combustion engine is determined. An air-fuel ratio in the exhaust tract of the internal combustion engine is determined which is adjusted in time. Based on the time-adjusted air-fuel ratio and the calculated fuel mass to be injected, a first wall film fuel mass is calculated and the fuel mass to be injected is adjusted based on the first wall film fuel mass.

摘要: Engine controllers and control schemes are provided for managing engine state transitions requiring increased compressor pressure ratios in turbocharged engines. In some circumstances, turbo lag can be mitigated by initially transitioning the engine to an intermediate engine state that directly or indirectly increases airflow through the engine and turbocharger relative to what would be possible if the engine were immediately commanded to operate at the target engine state. After reaching a point where the desired torque is actually generated at the intermediate engine state, the operational settings are gradually reduced to the target effective firing density while increasing the operational compressor pressure ratio to the target compressor ratio.

摘要: A method for controlling fuel injection to an engine may include calculating an amount of air passing through a throttle, which is actually controlled, from a calculated amount of air in an intake manifold, which is calculated from a pressure value detected by a pressure sensor installed in the intake manifold connecting the throttle and a cylinder to each other, and a calculated pressure change in the intake manifold. The method may further include predicting an actual amount of air to be sucked into the cylinder when mixed with fuel from the calculated amount of air in the intake manifold and the calculated amount of air passing through the throttle. The method may also include injecting an amount of fuel according to the predicted actual amount of air to be sucked into the cylinder.
