    摘要： An engine generator is disclosed in which an engine drives a generator and causes a cooling fan to rotate to cool the generator. The generator includes an intake duct having an intake port provided in a lower portion thereof and oriented downward. Moisture-containing outside air sucked through the intake port impinges on a barrier plate disposed in the intake duct. The barrier plate is located above the intake port and faces the intake port. The moisture adheres to the barrier plate in the form of water droplets, which then fall toward the intake port after having separated from the outside air.

    摘要： An air-cooled, reciprocating piston, internal combustion engine which includes at least one cylinder head which includes inlet and exhaust ducts having inlet and exhaust valves with stems, the stems extending parallel to one another, said valve stems being oriented with respect to a longitudinal axis of the engine such that a plane passing therethrough will lie at an acute angle to the longitudinal axis of the engine. The external walls of the cylinder heads which provide the inlet and exhaust ducts, together with a central area arranged between the ducts, form, in the cylinder head section facing away from the cylinder, at least one arcuate or S-shaped cooling air duct when positioned adjacent a similarly constructed cylinder head.

    摘要： In an engine including a cooling fan provided at one end of a drive shaft to cool the engine, a muffler is attached such that a longitudinal direction thereof coincide with a direction of gravity, and a muffler accommodating chamber is formed by a muffler cover. A portion of cooling air generated by the cooling fan is introduced into the muffler accommodating chamber so as to cool the muffler. At the muffler accommodating chamber, a cooling air outlet is provided at an upper end of a cooling passage, such that the waste heat of the muffler is discharged from the cooling air outlet to the outside during the stop of the engine. A cooling air inlet is disposed below the cooling air outlet such that the cooling air flows from the lower side to the upper side of the muffler.
