Disclosed embodiments can benefit from sealing sleeves that may be arranged to inhibit passage onto respective hirth couplings of process fluid being processed by the compressor. The sealing sleeves may be affixed to adjoining structures (e.g., adjoining impeller bodies) by way of a slip fit connection to one of the adjoining structures and an interference fit connection with respect to the other adjoining structure, which is conducive to a user-friendly assembly of the sealing sleeves with the adjoining structures.

摘要： An integrated pressurized pump shaft seal assembly for a submersible rotary fluid pump comprises an oil reservoir having a pressure equal or less than the ambient pressure external fluids surrounding the casing, the oil reservoir feeding an oil pump impeller that is mountable onto, so as to be rotated by, the rotary fluid pump shaft. The impeller is a radial hole impeller in fluid communication with an adjacent diffusion element comprising an internal diffusion bore in fluid communication with an axially vertical spiral volute diffusion chamber located between inner and outer walls of a mechanical seal housing. The centrifugal oil pump impeller pumps oil from the oil reservoir to the seal chamber through the diffusion element and the internal volute diffusion element so as to increase a pressure within the seal chamber to a positive pressure above the ambient pressure of the external fluids surrounding the pump housing.

摘要： The gas seal column pump may comprise a pump drive, a gas seal column with a corrosion resistant telescoping liner, a seal gas control box, and a pump. A drive motor of the pump drive, the gas seal column, and the pump may comprise a sealed, vertically-oriented, pumping system where the gas seal column is operable to replace mechanical seals around a drive shaft that couples the drive motor to the pump. A pressurized seal gas pumped into the gas seal column may displace corrosive fumes and the product being pumped. An unsealed pump drive motor may be used for certain applications. The vertical length of the telescoping liner may be controlled to mitigate interference with pump operation. Responsive to inputs from the level sensors, a seal gas control box may regulate the pressure of the seal gas using a plurality of valves.

摘要： An electrical submersible pump assembly has a seal section housing for coupling between a motor and a pump of the assembly. A bladder has an opening sized to slide over an adapter in the seal section housing. A clamp ring is formed of a shape memory alloy selected to create an expanded condition inner diameter when at a room temperature, enabling the clamp ring to be inserted over the bladder opening during assembly. When heated to a selected elevated temperature, the clamp ring contracts and tightly secures the opening around the adapter. The shape memory alloy of the clamp ring also causes the contracted condition inner diameter to expand when chilled to a selected low temperature. Maximum and minimum diameters of the contracted ring are based on an amount of bladder compression that achieves sealing without damage to the bladder.
