摘要: A continuously variable transmission for a vehicle includes a drive clutch, a driven clutch operably coupled to the drive clutch, and a belt extending between the drive and driven clutches. The continuously variable transmission also includes an inner cover and an outer cover removably coupled to the inner cover. At least one of the inner and outer covers includes an air inlet for providing cooling air to the drive and driven clutches and the belt.

摘要: In a working machine, a traveling pump is driven by a prime mover to rotate a traveling motor by fluid therefrom. The traveling motor has a rotation speed shiftable between a lower first speed and a higher second speed. A traveling change-over valve is shiftable between a first state where the rotation speed of the traveling motor is set to the first speed and a second state where the rotation speed of the traveling motor is set to the second speed. A controller performs a shock-mitigation for reducing a rotation speed of the prime mover when the traveling change-over valve is shifted from the second state to the first state. The controller determines a reduction amount of rotation speed of the prime mover reduced by the shock mitigation based on a difference between a target rotation speed of the prime mover and an actual rotation speed of the prime mover.

摘要: A method controls a power transmission device including a continuously variable transmission, an electric oil pump provided in a first oil passage connecting primary and secondary pulley oil chambers of the continuously variable transmission, and a switching valve provided at a branch point between the first oil passage and a second oil passage that branches from the first oil passage between the electric oil pump and the primary pulley oil chamber and that is connected to an oil reservoir. A third oil passage branches from the first oil passage between the electric oil pump and the secondary pulley oil chamber. The method makes a magnitude of a hydraulic pressure difference between the third oil passage and the first oil passage one the side of the primary pulley oil chamber smaller than a prescribed threshold value when the switching valve switches between a first position and a second position.

摘要: A vehicle includes an engine, a continuously variable transmission including an input shaft coupled to the engine, an output shaft, an electric machine, and a gearing arrangement. The electric machine is configured to actuate the gearing arrangement to change a speed ratio between the input and output shafts. A controller is programmed to, responsive to a request to manually shift the transmission to one of a predetermined number of virtual discrete speed ratios and the engine being OFF, command starting of the engine regardless of a driver-demand torque and operate the electric machine to shift the transmission to the one of the speed ratios.

摘要: A slip control method and arrangement for a drivetrain including a continuously variable transmission, forward-reverse clutch arrangement and an optional three-speed gearbox is described herein. The forward-reverse clutch arrangement includes a clutch that is so controlled as to slip when a torque higher than the usable torque attempts to pass through. Accordingly, the clutch prevents the prime mover from stalling.
