摘要: Light module for a motor vehicle light including a light source, projection unit, deflection unit, and control unit. The light source is designed to receive a light control signal (LCS) and emit spatially modulated light (SML) as a function of the LCS. The projection unit is designed to project the SML emitted by the light source within a projection angular range (PAR) in front of the light module. The deflection unit is designed to receive a deflection control signal (DCS) and manipulate the SML emitted by the light source as a function of the DCS such that the projection of the SML emitted by the light source can be displaced in front of the light module with a displacement angle within the PAR. The control unit is designed to receive and evaluate an input signal and to transmit the LCS to the light source based on said evaluation.

The method includes providing a road profile, extracting road features from the road profile, dividing the matrix arrangement in row groups, assigning a different shifting value for each row group, each shifting value depending on the road features, dividing each row group in a first portion and a second portion, shifting the operation of the first portion of each row group of light sources according to the corresponding shifting value and create a third portion between the shifted first portion and the second portion of each row group.

摘要: A vehicular forward viewing image capture system includes an accessory module configured for attachment at an in-cabin side of a windshield of a vehicle, whereby a CMOS image sensor views through the windshield forward of the vehicle. With the accessory module attached at the in-cabin side of the windshield, and while the vehicle is traveling along a road, captured image data is processed to determine movement of an object of interest viewed by the image sensor. Multiple frames of captured image data are processed in determining movement of the object of interest. The accessory module includes an electrical connector for electrically connecting to a vehicle wiring system of the vehicle. Image data captured by the image sensor may be processed for an automatic headlamp control system of the equipped vehicle. The vehicular forward viewing image capture system may compensate for misalignment of the image sensor.

The light distribution patterns include at least a first light distribution pattern and a second light distribution pattern. The first light distribution pattern illuminates an area ahead of the vehicle during running of the vehicle. The second light distribution pattern is projected as a marking at an optical axis adjustment that is performed during manufacturing of the vehicle. The controller causes a part of the light source to emit light so that the second light distribution pattern is formed.

摘要: Systems and methods for moving an illumination spot of a searchlight beam at a constant groundspeed. The method includes receiving state data comprising an attitude for the mobile platform. The method computes an elevation angle, theta, of the beam as a function of the attitude, an elevation actuator angle and a known mounting orientation for the searchlight. Responsive to receiving a searchlight control command from a user input device, the method determines a respective rate of change of theta, dtheta/dt, and rate of change of Psi, dPsi/dt, required to maintain the constant groundspeed of the illumination spot, as a function of the state data. The method updates theta responsive to the determined dtheta/dt and generates actuator control commands for an elevation actuator based thereon. The method updates Psi responsive to the determined dPsi/dt, and generates actuator control commands for an azimuth actuator based thereon.

摘要: An adaptive vehicle headlight is provided for being installed on a vehicle body for use. The adaptive vehicle headlight includes a light body, an optical lens, a driver, and a control unit. The optical lens, the driver, and the control unit are integrated into the light body. In practice, the optical lens can optionally include a light distributing member. The control unit can cause an operation of the driver according to a tilt angle of the vehicle body, such that the optical lens and/or the light distributing member are rotated to a predetermined angle, so as to produce an illumination pattern in a horizontal state.

The control, responsive to the processing of captured image data and responsive to vehicle data received via a vehicle communication bus, at least in part provides at least one selected from the group consisting of (a) traffic sign recognition, (b) traffic light status detection, (c) adaptive cruise control and (d) pedestrian detection.
