摘要: A boiler facility includes first and second fuel transfer apparatuses for transporting fine particulate fuel to a combustor. A first fuel transfer apparatus includes a main body and a diffuser. The main body has a flow space through which fuel is transferred and an inner surface that defines the flow space of the main body and includes a lower inner surface that extends obliquely downward. The diffuser is installed at a downstream end of the main body, the diffuser having a flow space through which fuel is transferred and an inner surface that defines the flow space of the first diffuser and includes a lower inner surface that extends obliquely upward. A second fuel transfer apparatus includes a transfer pipe having a flow channel, a second diffuser installed along the inner circumferential surface of the transfer pipe, and a guide installed in the second diffuser and inclined downward.

摘要: The present disclosure is directed to systems and methods for high flame temperature oxy-combustion that enables the capture of CO2 cost effectively. One part of the presently disclosed subject matter comprises an annular shroud burner which utilizes a supply of undiluted oxygen and minimal flue gas recycle to generate a high flame temperature to maximize efficiency. The annular shroud burner may deliver oxygen into a combustion zone where mixing of the oxygen and a stream of fuel occurs. Flue gas recycled from the exit of the combustion system serves the dual purpose of conveying the coal into the reaction zone, as well as providing local cooling and protection from high incident heat fluxes through the novel shroud cooling design. The annular shroud burner may be configured to produce an axial jet flame that controls the rate of mixing of oxygen and fuel, thereby extending the heat release. Oxygen and coal may be mixed in a ratio such that peak flame temperatures exceed 4,500° F. (2,482° C.) while the flow of recycled flue gas is regulated to control flame temperature and protect burner components and near-burner surfaces.

摘要: A system and method for inductive heating of dispersed metallic particles is provided. The method includes: providing a particle-laden flow comprising a carrier phase comprising a carrier fluid and a dispersed phase comprising the dispersed metallic particles; exposing the dispersed metallic particles to a magnetic field for heating the dispersed metallic particles via at least one of hysteresis and Joules heating mechanisms; inductively heating the dispersed metallic particles in the particle-laden flow via the magnetic field; and controlling a flow configuration of the particle-laden flow by adjusting a flow parameter, the flow parameter being any one or more of an induction heating timescale, a particle thermal timescale, a heat diffusion in the carrier phase, and a particle clustering of the dispersed metallic particles.

摘要: The present invention relates to a self-powered time sharing reaction system and method for organic materials pyrolysis and combustion. The system comprises a time sharing reactor for pyrolysis and combustion, a feeder, a recovery apparatus for pyrolysis volatility products and a flue gas purifier. The whole process mainly consists of two time sharing stages of pyrolysis and combustion: organic materials are sent into the time sharing reactor for pyrolysis and combustion, and solid thermal carrier rapidly heats the organic materials and the pyrolysis reaction takes place. The produced pyrolysis volatility products enter the recovery apparatus for the recycling of the pyrolysis gas and pyrolysis oil; when the pyrolysis reaction is over, fill air into the time sharing reactor for pyrolysis and combustion to combust with the rest of the pyrolysis volatility products and the pyrolysis residue in the reactor. The heat produced during the combustion heats the solid thermal carrier, the flue gas is released after being purified, the heated solid thermal carrier is left in the time sharing reactor for pyrolysis and combustion to provide energy for the next organic materials pyrolysis. The process is thus repeated. The system has the advantages of cascade utilization of energy, short time of pyrolysis reaction and high efficiency of heat transfer.
