Abstract: Provided is a powered transaction system and method. The system includes a distributed blockchain application which facilitates wireless powered transactions between a buyer and a supplier, wherein the blockchain application includes at least one blockchain ledger, a wireless powered two-part blockchain currency, the two-part currency comprising a first currency and a second currency, a trust server which stores the two-part currency and fiat currency, and a first server, wherein the first server receives fiat currency from a buyer transaction device in a first transaction recorded on the at least one blockchain ledger and exchanges the fiat currency for two-part currency from the trust server, and wherein the first currency is provided to the buyer transaction device and the second currency is retained by the first server.

Abstract: A system and method for inductive heating of dispersed metallic particles is provided. The method includes: providing a particle-laden flow comprising a carrier phase comprising a carrier fluid and a dispersed phase comprising the dispersed metallic particles; exposing the dispersed metallic particles to a magnetic field for heating the dispersed metallic particles via at least one of hysteresis and Joules heating mechanisms; inductively heating the dispersed metallic particles in the particle-laden flow via the magnetic field; and controlling a flow configuration of the particle-laden flow by adjusting a flow parameter, the flow parameter being any one or more of an induction heating timescale, a particle thermal timescale, a heat diffusion in the carrier phase, and a particle clustering of the dispersed metallic particles.

Abstract: Provided are systems, devices, and methods for a smart thermal control. The thermal control system may include an energy source, a first deposit of energetic particles having an inherent Curie temperature, and at least one heat receiving object. Upon application of energy from the energy source to the first deposit of energetic particles the energetic particles are heated and can transfer heat to the at least one heat receiving object. The temperature of the first deposit can be controlled by the application of energy to be heated to various specific temperatures up to the Curie temperature. Applications including de-icing, ice prevention, cooking, medical devices, ignition systems and autonomous vehicles, as well as applications in space, are discussed.

Abstract: Provided are systems and methods for transport vehicles using recyclable metallic fuels. The method includes capturing fuel products, including a metal oxide and unburnt fuel from the combustion of a metallic fuel, storing the unburnt metallic fuel and the fuel products, and recycling the metal oxide to recreate the metallic fuel and/or byproducts. Heat generated by the combustion and/or sintering of the metallic fuel may be transferred to a working fluid to drive the production of electricity and/or to provide propulsion in land, air and water vehicles and spacecraft. Furthermore, the thermal energy harvesting system may be used to generate electricity. The system includes a thermal (heat) engine having an induction heating assembly for heating the metallic fuel. Processes for complete combustion of the metallic fuel and recycling the metallic fuel in a sintering loop are described.
