摘要: Internal control devices (41A to 41D) included respectively in air conditioners (10A to 10D) in an air conditioning system (1) are communicably connected one by one correspondingly to external control devices (42A to 42D). Each of the external control devices (42A to 42D) is configured to execute command generating operation of generating an operation command to a corresponding one of the air conditioners (10A to 10D). The external control devices (42A to 42D) constitute an external control system (50). In the external control system (50), one of the external control devices (42A) functions as a master control device configured to execute the command generating operation whereas remaining ones of the external control devices (42A to 42D) other than the external control device (42A) functioning as the master control device function as sub control devices configured not to execute the command generating operation.

摘要: Disclosed herein is an indoor unit which can easily create a plurality of areas having different temperatures in a single indoor space, with even a single indoor unit. An indoor space is divided into a plurality of areas. An airflow direction adjusting flap provided at a blow-out opening is capable guiding blown air to each of the areas. An amount of heat to be processed for each of the plurality of areas by the air blown out of the blow-out opening is adjusted so that temperatures of at least two of the areas are different from each other.

摘要: The present disclosure includes techniques that enable a conditioned air system to automatically restore functionality and/or to operate at reduced functionality when a fault is detected, for example, to facilitate reducing likelihood that continuing operation with the fault present will decrease lifespan of the conditioned air system. To facilitate improving operation of the conditioned air system when a fault is present, the control system of the conditioned air system may utilize substitute sensor data and/or adjust its control algorithm. In this manner, the control system may facilitate improving operational reliability and/or availability of the conditioned air system, for example, by adaptively adjusting its operation to enable the conditioned air system to continue operating even when a fault is present, while reducing likelihood that the continued operation will reduce lifespan of the conditioned air system.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a centering system for a heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) unit to be mounted to a curb. The centering system includes a centering wedge configured to couple to a base rail of the HVAC unit, the base rail having a lateral surface and a base surface along a length of the HVAC unit. The centering wedge includes an angled surface configured to extend between the lateral surface of the base rail and the base surface of the base rail. The angled surface is configured to contact the curb during installation of the HVAC unit to guide the HVAC unit toward a centered position on the curb.

摘要: A method for operating an air conditioner includes transmitting a plurality of signals between a remote user interface and the air conditioner through a plurality of wires that extend between the remote user interface and the air conditioner when the air conditioner is in a diagnostic mode. Each signal of the plurality of signals corresponds to a respective one of the plurality of wires. The method also include sequentially presenting a respective one or more characters on a display of a user interface of the air conditioner in response to each signal of the plurality of signals being received at the air conditioner.

摘要: An air conditioner is provided. The air conditioner includes a housing, a heat exchanger positioned inside the housing, a fan for blowing air into the heat exchanger such that heat in the blown air is exchanged with the heat exchanger, a duct including a first channel forming surface, and a second channel forming surface, a porous panel corresponding to the second channel forming surface, and including a plurality of pores, a blade for swiveling between an open position and a closed position, blocking the low wind-speed channel at the open position so that air passed through the basic channel can be discharged outside of the air conditioner, moving the air passed through the basic channel to the low wind-speed channel, and discharging the air to the outside via the pores at the closed position, a driver for driving the blade to swivel, and a processor configured to control the driver.

摘要: A system and method are described that help in alleviating charge imbalance issues, especially in HVAC systems that are operable in both heating and cooling modes. In various embodiments a compensator is attached to the liquid line of an outdoor heat exchanger. A heater is attached to the compensator. During cooling operations the heater is turned on to help drive refrigerant out of the compensator. During heating operations the heater is turned off, allowing excess refrigerant to migrate to the compensator and alleviate high pressure in the system.
