摘要: A computer-implemented method 1000 of constructing a model of the motion of a mobile device, wherein the method comprises using a sensor of the device to obtain 1002 positional data providing an estimated pose of the mobile device, generating an initial graph 1004 based upon the positional data from the sensor, nodes of which graph provide a series of possible poses of the device, and edges of which graph represent odometry and/or loop closure constraints; processing the graph to estimate 1006 confidence scores for each loop closure by performing pairwise consistency tests between each loop closure and a set of other loop closures; and generating an augmented graph from the initial graph by retaining or deleting 1008 each loop closure based upon the confidence scores.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for estimating a current wheel circumference of at least one wheel arranged on a vehicle, said method comprising: determining a reference speed of the vehicle at a point in time by means of a reference apparatus, detecting a wheel rotational speed of the at least one wheel at said point in time by means of a wheel rotational speed sensor, estimating a single wheel-circumference value based on the determined reference speed and the detected wheel rotational speed for said point in time by means of a calculation apparatus, storing at least the estimated single wheel-circumference value in a circular buffer for said point in time, estimating a current wheel circumference based on the single wheel-circumference values stored in the circular buffer by the calculation apparatus, outputting the estimated current wheel circumference as a wheel circumference signal.

摘要: A distance-based score approximation having improved computational efficiency is provided. Responsive to receiving a score request, an observation point is identified based the score request. A geographic database is queried for map information corresponding to geometry elements located within a predetermined maximum distance of the observation point. A plurality of sections of the geometry elements are defined. Each section is associated with one of a plurality of groups of sections based on map information corresponding to a geometry element corresponding to the section. For each of the plurality of sections, an impact curtain area is determined. For each group of sections, the impact curtain area for each section associated with the group is aggregated to define a contribution for the group. The contribution for each group of sections is aggregated to determine the distance-based score. The distance-based score is provided for display via a display of a user computing entity.
