摘要: A flow measurement assembly that includes a production string and a flow meter fluidically coupled to the production string. The flow meter includes a variable Venturi tube attached to and configured to flow production fluid received from the production string. The variable Venturi tube includes an end fixed to the production string and at least one Venturi throat. The flow meter also includes an actuator configured to move the variable Venturi tube with respect to the fixed end. The flow meter includes a processor communicatively coupled sensors coupled to the variable Venturi tube. The processor determines, based on a first fluid parameter and the second fluid parameter received from the sensors, at least one of a mass flow rate of the production fluid, a density of the production fluid, a viscosity of the production fluid, or a coefficient of discharge of the production fluid.

摘要: An engine exhaust flow meter and method of measuring engine exhaust flow rate includes a flow tube and a differential pressure meter that is adapted to measure differential pressure in exhaust flow through the flow tube. A computer samples the differential pressure meter at a rate that is greater than the pulsation of exhaust flow to obtain a differential pressure signal. The computer is responsive to the differential pressure signal to compute a mean differential pressure value. The computer is responsive to the differential pressure signal to compute a mean magnitude of pressure pulses. The computer determines a compensation factor as a function of the mean magnitude of pressure pulses and adjusts the mean differential pressure value as a function of the compensation factor to obtain an engine exhaust flow value that is flow pulsation compensated.

摘要: This disclosure pertains to a system and method configured for detecting fluid flow of a conduit. The method and system include using a flow sensor configured to sense fluid flow energy through the conduit, and a spectral processor in communication with the flow sensor. The spectral processor determines a spectral energy curve (SEC) of the fluid flow by obtaining, utilizing the flow sensor, raw flow data for the conduit and determining the SEC of the fluid flow energy. The method and system for determining fluid flow includes isolating, utilizing the SEC of the fluid flow energy, a flow-born energy of the conduit from an airborne environmental energy of the conduit, and a structural-born energy of the conduit, and detecting fluid flow based on the flow energy of the conduit.

摘要: A subsea flow meter assembly includes a pipe section extending in an axial direction and providing a flow path for a medium. At least four measuring ports are provided at different locations in the pipe section. A first assembly measures at least a differential pressure between a first and second ports and an absolute pressure at one of the ports. A second assembly measures a differential pressure between a third and a fourth ports, and an absolute pressure at one of the ports. A first measuring unit is used to take measurements of the differential pressure and the absolute pressure via the first sensor assembly. A second measuring unit is used to take measurements of the differential pressure and the absolute pressure via the second sensor assembly. An evaluation unit of each determines a flow rate of a flow of medium through the pipe section based on the measurements.

摘要: Provided is a wide-range diaphragm gas meter, comprising a machine core. The machine core comprises a diaphragm chamber, two diaphragms, two diaphragm covers, a valve cover, and a four-axis rotational system. The diaphragm chamber comprises a valve seat and two measuring chambers, and the two diaphragms are located in the two measuring chambers respectively. Each of the diaphragms is connected correspondingly to the four-axis rotational system. A vertical shaft is fixedly connected to one end of a rotating bar, the other end of the rotating bar is hinged to one end of a connecting bar, and the other end of the connecting bar is hinged to a crank. The central shaft of the crank is a third rotating shaft. A central crankwheel is arranged on a central shaft. The valve cover and the central crankwheel are coaxially arranged.

摘要: An aircraft landing gear assembly (112) including a shock absorber strut (114), a bogie (120), a link assembly (124), and a movement detector (132). The shock absorber strut includes an upper and a lower telescoping parts (118, 116), the upper part being connectable to the airframe of an aircraft and the lower part being connected to the bogie. The link assembly extends between the upper and lower telescoping parts. The movement detector detects movement of the link assembly relative to the bogie. The movement detector includes: a piston (138) arranged such that relative movement between the link assembly and the bogie causes relative movement of the piston within a cylinder (136); fluid which flows as a result of relative movement between the piston and the cylinder; and a flow sensor (184) arranged to sense a change in flow due to movement of the piston within the cylinder.

摘要: An optofluidic flow meter to determine a rate of fluid flow in a flow member includes: the flow member; a primary fluid conduit disposed in the flow member and that receives a fluid; a secondary fluid conduit disposed in the flow member; and a fiber optic comprising a fiber Bragg grating interposed between a first flow region of the primary fluid conduit and a second flow region of the secondary fluid conduit and that: physically distorts relative to a pressure differential between the primary fluid conduit and the secondary fluid conduit; and produces a shift in a Bragg wavelength in response to a physical distortion due to the pressure differential.
