摘要: An absence of voltage indicator has an isolation circuit, an FM modulator attached to the isolation circuit, a reference oscillator, and a mixer attached to the reference oscillator and the FM modulator, wherein the output of the mixer is the difference of the two signals. In one embodiment, the FM modulator includes a variable capacitor which varies in response to a voltage in parallel to a fixed capacitor and an inductor in parallel to the capacitors.

摘要: The mapping of electric power distribution circuits and electric power outlets to breakers in a breaker panel is accomplished by providing a plurality of smart power testing devices and a control device that communicates with each of the smart power testing devices. Each of the smart power testing devices is connected to a respective one of the electric power outlets in a structure. Each smart power testing device can detect the AC voltage level provided at the electric power outlet. A user opens each breaker in the breaker panel, in succession. When a smart power testing device senses loss of AC voltage, it transmits a message to the control device. The control device can then identify which outlets are on a common electric power circuit, and by opening each breaker in succession, the control device can creating a mapping of outlets to breakers.

摘要: A Smartserv platform system and methods are provided. When a restaurant item order is placed via a smart device app interface, the order is transmitted to computer server which notifies a preparer. The order is also transmitted to a Smartserv platform, which generates a user identifiable area, such as a color-coded area of a Smartserv platform surface within which an ordered restaurant item will be distributed, thereby enabling simpler and more organized restaurant item ordering and distribution. The computer server may also notify the customer that the customer's order is ready for pickup at the area designated by the appropriately colored lights. This improves known customer-notification methods.

摘要: A sensor device for detecting voltage in a conductor cable includes a sense electrode to be disposed over a surface of the conductor cable to cover a sense region having a sense axial width and a sense circumferential length and a reference electrode to be disposed over the surface of the conductor cable to cover a reference region. The reference region has an axial position adjacent the axial position of the sense region and has a reference circumferential length greater than the sense circumferential length. The sensor device further includes a charge measurement circuit connected in series between the sense electrode and the reference electrode to measure a charge measurement and circuitry to compare the charge measurement to a threshold to detect a presence of the voltage in the conductor cable.

摘要: An energy detection warning device includes a housing. An electronic indication component is disposed within the housing. One or more sensors are disposed within the housing and are configured to detect an energized conductor present within a particular proximity of a location of the energy detection warning device, and detect a direction in which the energized conductor is located with respect to the location of the energy detection warning device. The direction is an approximate direction. The device also includes a microcontroller configured to: receive input from the one or more sensors, and actuate the electronic indication component, in response to receipt of the input, to indicate the direction in which the energized conductor is located with respect to the location of the energy detection warning device.

摘要: A permanently installed absence of voltage tester (AVT) may include a connectivity verification system for verifying the connectivity of system cable leads to the main power lines in electrical equipment. An installed AVT may indicate whether the electrical equipment is in an electrically safe state without first requiring direct access to the equipment. One step in the AVT test procedure may include connectivity verification by the connectivity verification system, which may include a sub-procedure to confirm that the installed AVT is directly coupled as intended with direct connection to the equipment being monitored. The connectivity verification system may validate that the AVT is measuring the actual voltage on the power lines of the electrical equipment and has not registered a no-voltage condition due to an unknown disconnection error or installation failure.

摘要: In order to provide an environmentally secured voltage testing interface, an electrical enclosure box comprising a front panel is herein-described, into which is mounted a voltage indicator comprising a plurality of LED indicators that indicate a status of one or more circuits coupled thereto and monitored thereby. A compact test point device is also mounted through the front panel and comprises an interface comprising a plurality of external measurement sockets configured to receive one or more probes for manual measurement of voltages, wherein each external measurement socket is coupled to a voltage divider that is further coupled to each of a plurality of respective wires coupled to respective LED indicators.
