Abstract: An information processing method that is executed by a computer includes a process of: acquiring information indicating a connection status of an electric vehicle to a charger/discharger managed by an aggregator; specifying a degree of contribution to the aggregator by the electric vehicle according to the connection status; and giving a benefit in association with a user of the electric vehicle according to the specified degree of contribution. Preferably, the degree of contribution is specified on the basis of a parallel waiting time of the electric vehicle for the charger/discharger, the number of parallel waiting operations, the number of times the electric vehicle is charged and discharged through the charger/discharger, a charge and discharge time, charge and discharge power, or an amount of charge and discharge power.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatus for smart electric power grid communication are disclosed in the present invention. At least one grid element transmits at least one registration message over an Internet Protocol (IP)-based network to at least one coordinator. The at least one coordinator registers the at least one grid element upon receipt of the at least one registration message. The at least one grid element automatically and/or autonomously transforms into at least one active grid element for actively functioning in the electric power grid. The at least one coordinator tracks based on revenue grade metrology an amount of power available for the electric power grid or a curtailment power available from the at least one active grid element.

Abstract: Systems include one or more critical datacenter connected to behind-the-meter flexible datacenters. The critical datacenter is powered by grid power and not necessarily collocated with the flexboxes, which are powered “behind the meter.” When a computational operation to be performed at the critical datacenter is identified and determined that it can be performed at a lower cost at a flexible datacenter, the computational operation is instead routed to the flexible datacenters for performance. The critical datacenter and flexible datacenters preferably shared a dedicated communication pathway to enable high-bandwidth, low-latency, secure data transmissions.

Abstract: A method and system for controlling voltage and reactive power for electrical grids includes monitoring the output of the energy generation facilities at the point of interconnection (POI) of each energy generation facility to the power transmission system of the electrical grid. In addition, the voltage at a point of utilization (POU) is monitored to determine when the output voltage of the energy generation facilities must be adjusted to maintain voltage at the POU. In addition, when it is determined that energy generation facilities are exchanging reactive power, the voltage set points of the energy generation facilities are adjusted to reduce the exchanged power.

Abstract: Systems and methods dynamically assess energy efficiency by obtaining a minimum energy consumption of a system, receiving in a substantially continuous way a measurement of actual energy consumption of the system, and comparing the minimum energy consumption to the measurement of actual energy consumption to calculate a substantially continuous energy performance assessment. The system further provides at least one of a theoretical minimum energy consumption based at least in part on theoretical performance limits of system components, an achievable minimum energy consumption based at least in part on specifications for high energy efficient equivalents of the system components, and the designed minimum energy consumption based at least in part on specifications for the system components.

Abstract: The present system is for integrated management of associated gas and produced water at oil well extraction sites. The system includes a controller that makes gas allocation determination (e.g., directs conditioned gas to (i) gas flare, (ii) produced water reduction system, and/or (iii) generator) when a change in conditioned gas flow is detected based on first plurality of inputs. If the conditioned gas is directed to the generator, then the controller makes an electricity allocation determination (e.g., (i) increase a data processing operating rate on a data processing server, (ii) start up idle data processing equipment, (iii) direct generated electric current to a power grid, and/or (iv) charge a storage battery) based on second plurality of inputs. By operating the system of gas consumption and electricity production/consumption in an integrated fashion, benefits of flaring prevention, resource conversation, and more efficient economic operations are optimized to a degree not previously attainable.
