摘要： A checkout counter belt cover for displaying information, including advertising information. The cover is formed of a stretchable material and includes at least one printable surface. The cover is releasably attachable to a checkout counter belt such that it substantially covers the entire belt but without affecting standard belt movement. A perimeter attachment component and a width attachment component are removably affixed to the belt. One end of the cover is releasably affixed to the width attachment component. As the belt is moved, the cover is releasably affixed to the perimeter attachment component. As one rotation of the belt is completed, the opposite end of the cover is releasably affixed to the width attachment component adjacent to the one end of the cover.

摘要： An advertisement display device which can display a plurality of frames repeatedly one after another and which incurs less manufacturing and initial costs. By activating a motor, a rotary shaft is rotated. The rotary shaft in turn rotates upper and lower driven sprockets, which in turn upper and lower endless chains. An endless sheet stretched between the endless chains are thus rotated together with the chains. The endless sheet is several times longer than a display area defined in an outer case, and has a plurality of continuously arranged display frames each substantially as long as the display area. Each frame carries one kind of advertisement. By rotating the endless sheet, the ads on the respective frames can be repeatedly displayed one after another.

摘要： A plurality of sensors are provided each sensing a different condition occurring in a motor vehicle. Each sensor supplies a signal to a converter which converts the signals into a four-digit binary coded signal. A plurality of condition indicating panels, each bearing up to four projections, sequentially move past a stationary switch arrangement to open at least one of four normally closed switches to produce further binary coded signals. A digital comparator compares the four-digit binary signal from the converter with those developed by the switches. The comparator produces an output to drive an electric motor to continue movement of the indication panels when the compared signals do not coincide. When coincidence occurs, the output from the comparator changes to stop the motor thereby displaying the selected indication panel. When two or more signals from the sensors are applied to the converter, only one signal of highest priority is converted into a four-digit binary signal which is subjected to a comparison in the manner just described.

摘要： An extremely dependable, rugged display apparatus is provided for continuously displaying a portion of an endless tape, web, or belt containing visual messages or markings thereon. The endless tape, web, or belt moves from a storage space at the back of the apparatus, where excess slack in the tape, web, or belt is stored in loose folds, to and beneath a floating idler roller at the bottom of the apparatus. The tape, web, or belt then moves between a flat plate and a transparent sheet at the front of the apparatus to a drive roller at the top of the apparatus. The transparent sheet forms at least a portion of the front panel of the apparatus, and the flat plate is positioned flatwise directly behind and spaced from the transparent sheet. The tape, web, or belt passes between the drive roller and a free rolling, nip roller which is supported by the drive roller, and, then, back to the storage space.
