摘要： A bracket device to secure one or more tail wires of one or more drop clamps to a utility pole. The bracket device includes one or more support ribs extending perpendicularly from the bracket base, and attached to one or more side supports. The support ribs and side supports define one or more retention regions along the side of the bracket based. A plurality of securing bolts can be cooperatively coupled to the side supports and define secondary retention regions. The securing bolts may be moved between an open position and a closed position. The bracket device can further comprise a top loop, which extends from the bracket base, and which can be coupled to additional wires. The bracket device can be secured to a utility pole or similar structure by a single fastening component, which is configured to pass through the cavity of the bracket base.

The utility pole mounted lightning rod may be a lightning protection system that is adapted to be mounted at the top of a utility pole. The utility pole mounted lightning rod may divert energy from a lightning strike to a grounding wire and away from primary wires and other power utility equipment. The base plate may be coupled to a side of the utility pole at the top of the utility pole. The housing tube may be coupled to the base plate at an oblique angle and may retain the lightning rod. The utility pole mounted lightning rod may be operable on three-phase posts where contact with one of the primary wires passing directly over the top of the utility pole must be avoided.

摘要： A protective apparatus for a distribution line conductor includes an elongate tube configured to be installed on the conductor and a plurality of annular members concentrically positioned on the tube and configured to rotate independently of each other. The tube has a longitudinal axis and defines a longitudinally extending chamber configured to receive the conductor. The tube has opposite first and second ends and a longitudinally extending opening from the first end to the second end that facilitates installation of the elongate tube on the conductor. Each annular member includes an outer surface and a plurality of circumferentially-spaced apart members extending outwardly from the outer surface. Each annular member includes a longitudinally extending slot that is configured to align with the longitudinally extending opening of the tube to facilitate installation of the elongate tube and the plurality of annular members as an assembly on the conductor.

摘要： A passive-intermodulation-mitigating mounting assembly for a fixture, such as can be affixed to a utility or communications monopole can include a first bracket and a second bracket respectively defining a first through hole and a second through hole. In some examples, a mounting plate supports an antenna or a radio. A fastener can extend through the first through hole and the second through hole, for instance to couple the first bracket with the second bracket to attach the mounting assembly to a fixture. The passive-intermodulation-mitigating mounting assembly can include a bushing that can be inserted into a through hole, and the bushing can physically and electrically isolate the fastener from one or more of the brackets. The isolation of the bushing helps inhibit the passive-intermodulation of the mounting assembly when the fastener extends, via the first bushing, through at least one of the through holes.

In another embodiment, a method of selectively transmitting electricity in a powerline assembly is disclosed, wherein conducting lines are removably coupled to dead-end shoe apparatuses to facilitate the transmission.
