    摘要: A circuit for changing the poles of a rotor of a synchronous machine having contact brushes in operative connection with first and second slip rings includes a switch for reversibly connecting the contact brushes to an electrical current source, reversible pole coils operatively connected to one of the slip rings and connected through a first diode to a circuit portion which is formed by irreversible pole coils, and by a second diode and a third diode, and which is operatively connected with the other of the slip rings, and a circuit branch including a fourth diode having a polarity reversed with respect to the polarities of the first, second and third diodes. One terminal of the fourth diode is connected between the reversible pole coils and the first diode and the other terminal of the fourth diode is connected between the irreversible pole coils and the second diode.

    摘要: A variable speed generator for producing AC electrical power includes an alternator powerable by rotational action to generate a first AC current, and a first rectifier which rectifies the first AC current from the alternator. The generator further includes a main exciter having a first field winding which receives the rectified first AC current, and having a first armature which produces in response a second AC current. The generator further includes a second rectifier which rectifies the second AC current from the first armature. The generator further includes a main generator having a second field winding which receives the rectified second AC current, and having a second armature which produces in response an output AC current. The second field winding is configured to provide a plurality of selectively activatable pole configurations which differ in the number of their poles, such that the frequency of the output AC current can be varied by switching between the pole configurations. The variable speed generator further includes a control arrangement for activating the selected pole configuration.

    摘要: An electronically commutated motor has a rotor (34) that is rotatable about an axis (D), and it has a stator arrangement (30) in which is provided a number, evenly divisible by three, of salient stator poles that are wound with winding strands, associated with which, for the connection thereof, are busbars (44, 46, 48) arranged on edge. The latter are arranged in an insulating part (42). Each of these busbars (44, 46, 48) has a central portion (78), a first end portion (90) and a second end portion (56). These busbars (44, 46, 48) are insulated from one another and are nested into one another in a manner that minimizes relative displacement thereof.

    摘要: A D.C. excited rotor winding arrangement for a dynamoelectric machine comprises at least one closed loop (1,2,3) of three or more series-connected winding sections (10,11,12,13,16,17,18,19,20,21,22,23) with at least three current-supply terminals (ABCD) at their interconnections. At least one pair of adjacent winding sections (10,13; 11,12) generate opposite magnetic poles when fed in parallel with current from their common supply terminal (such terminals are designated "odd", as opposed to "even" terminals which are each associated with two poles of the same sense) and the pole number is varied by switching the current supply from "odd" to "even" terminals or vice versa. Preferably the winding arrangement comprises a plurality of series-connected closed loops (1) of four winding sections interconnected at two odd (B5, D5) and two even (A5, C5) terminals. Preferably the winding arrangement is fed with current from one of a plurality of rotating rectifiers (4,6,7) according to the pole number required.
