    摘要: An image forming apparatus, comprising a conveying component configured to convey a first sheet having a first wireless tag and a second sheet having a second wireless tag; a printer configured to form an image in a sheet conveyed by the conveying component; an antenna configured to transmit a radio wave in a first polarization direction and a second polarization direction which is different polarization direction from the first polarization direction; and a processor that starts to convey the first sheet by the conveying component; acquires a response to the radio wave of the first polarization direction transmitted by the antenna from the first wireless tag provided on the first sheet during the first sheet being conveyed by the conveying component, start to convey the second sheet by the conveying component; acquires a response to the radio wave of the second polarization direction transmitted by the antenna from the second wireless tag provided on the second sheet during the second sheet being conveyed by the conveying component, and determines, from the first polarization direction and second polarization direction, the polarization direction appropriate with respect to the first wireless tag and the second wireless tag.

    摘要: An image reading device includes first glass, an adjacent portion adjacent to the first glass, a reading unit, and a position reference portion. The first glass enables an document to be placed on a front surface side of the document. The reading unit is capable of being in contact with at least one of the adjacent portion and the first glass and reads, from a back surface side of the first glass, the document placed on the first glass by using a sensor while moving from the adjacent portion side in a movement direction. The position reference portion is disposed on the front surface side of the first glass and serves as a reference of a position of the reading unit in the movement direction. When the position reference portion is read by the reading unit, the reading unit is in contact with the adjacent portion and the first glass.

    摘要: An internal discharge space is defined between an image reading section and an image forming section and the internal discharge space has an opening in a front of the image forming apparatus. Since the internal discharge space has the opening in the front of the image forming apparatus, a border between the internal discharge space and the housing is located in the front of the image forming apparatus. A light emitting section having a predetermined length along the border is provided and emits light along the predetermined length of the border, enabling users to check a light emission state from a distance. Accordingly, a state of the image forming apparatus can be indicated by the light emitting section.

    摘要: An image forming system comprises a storage unit for storing a sheet; conveyance rollers for conveying a sheet along a conveyance path; sheet size setter for setting a size of the sheet stored; sheet size sensor for detecting a size of the sheet conveyed; a processor for obtaining a difference between the size set by the sheet size setter and the size detected by the sheet size sensor; and for controlling image formation. The difference is greater than a first reference value, the processor interrupts image formation, and when the difference is less than or equal to the first reference value and greater than a second reference value, which is smaller than the first reference value, the processor notifies a warning without interrupting image formation.
