Abstract:
One embodiment provides a foldable throwback device comprising a front frame, a base frame, and telescoping angle members. The front frame is adapted to secure a bounce- back surface and is foldable into at least three sections without removal of the bounce- back surface. The base frame is coupled to the front frame by hinge brackets that allow the base frame to fold substantially flat onto the front frame without significant disassembly. Each telescoping angle member extends from the base frame to the front frame, and is adjustable to allow angling the front frame relative to the base frame. Each telescoping angle member may include a rotation- limiting mechanism and a safety mechanism that prevents unintentional detachment.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method and apparatus for measuring the drop Y of sports netting (10) strung between opposed posts (14,16), wherein a datum point (28) is provided on each post, a datum line (42) is provided between the datum points and the distance Y between the datum line and a specified part (38) of the net measured; the height X above ground (40) of the net is extrapolated by providing the datum points (28) at a known height Z above ground (40) and subtracting the measured drop Y from the datum point height Z: the datum line (42) may be a light-weight cord strung between the datum points or a beam of visible or invisible light.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention relate to apparatuses and methods for releasably securing a structural member of a movable goal, such as a soccer goal, to a surface, such as the ground. For example, in one embodiment, an apparatus is provided comprising: (1) an enclosure structured to be placed at least substantially below the surface, the enclosure defining a cavity; (2) a goal engaging member movable relative to the surface and structured to engage the structural member of the movable goal; and (3) a tightening mechanism mounted within the enclosure and operatively connected to the goal engaging member, the tightening mechanism being structured to urge the goal engaging member toward the tightening mechanism so that the goal engaging member releasably secures a portion of the structural member of the movable goal.
Abstract:
Equipment is temporarily supported above the ground by a self-supporting, readily erectable and transportable mast. The mast comprises a pneumatically inflatable elongate tube having a first end to which the equipment is coupled and a second end coupled to a ground support tripod. The mast is provided with bracing structure adapted to brace the tube when inflated and including respective flexible members extending from each tripod leg to the first end of the tube.

Abstract:
The invention concerns a device (1) for practicing golf ball putting, said device comprising a putting mat (3) having an upper side (3a) and a lower side (3b) wherein at least the upper side (3a) is suitable for putting practice, and a roller (5) for rolling up the putting mat (3) when not in use. The invention is characterized in that the putting mat (3) has a first end attached to the roller (5), that a hole (8) is arranged in the putting mat (3), that a cup (6) for receiving a golf ball is fastened to the putting mat (3) and positioned at its lower side (3b) in association with the hole (8) in such a way that a golf ball rolling on the upper side of the putting mat (3) can fall down through the hole (8) and enter the cup (6), and that the roller (5) has an open cavity (10) arranged to receive the cup (6) when the putting mat (3) is rolled up onto the roller (5).
Abstract:
A wheel assembly for attachment to the leg of a trampoline has means for moving the wheel from a first raised position where the wheel is not supporting the trampoline leg above the ground, to a second position where the wheel is supporting the trampoline leg above the ground. In that way the trampoline can be rolled on wheels without having to subsequently remove the wheel assemblies for storage.
Abstract:
A bracket (1) is disclosed comprising a mounting portion (2) having a rear surface (6) and a first mounting section (8). A first strap engages with the first mounting section (8) to attach or secure the mounting portion (2) to an object. The bracket (1) further comprises a support portion (4) comprising one or more first holes or recesses (18) which are arranged and adapted to receive, in use, a projecting member. The one or more first holes or recesses (18) are inclined at an angle ? 1 relative to the rear surface (6), wherein 0° 1
Abstract:
The following invention presents a multi purpose collapsible and high-adjustable holder comprising a stand and arms assemblies. The stand assembly is having a plurality of expendable leg members, pivotally mounted into at least one common coupler; and an adapter suitable for reversibly attaching either the arms assembly or a vertical extender; said arms assembly is comprised of a plurality of two or more spreadable arms pivotally mounted at the top of at least one coupler. At least one arm is able to a jaws-like rotating maneuver so that it can either approach parallel to a second arm or rotate away from said second arm. A bag holder as defined wherein the arms assembly is comprised of a plurality of arms pivotally mounted at the top of a central coupler; said arms are extended horizontally so that the bag aperture's circumference or handles are secured by a means of said claspers.
Abstract:
Inflatable device for supporting water and beach sport tools characterized by the fact that it is formed by a three- or more-sided inflatable base structure (1) with a central post (2) and two bumpers (3); that inflation/deflation valves (8) respectively located on the inflatable structure (1), on the central post (2) and on the two bumpers (3); that said inflatable base structure has on a side a hook (4) for the central post (2) that is located laterally and two hooks (4) for the bumpers (3) that are located on the adjacent sides; that on the central post (2) two bumper hooks (5) are located for the two bumper (3) in such a way that, once hooked to both the base structure (1) and the bumpers (3), which have, in turn, been hooked to the structure itself (1), the central post (2) is positioned vertically as to the base structure (1); that nylon bolts are used to secure the central post (2) and the bumpers (3) to the base structure (1) and between themselves; that cord-loops (6) are located on the corners of the base structure (1) to anchor a rope.
