Abstract:
A method of managing the delivery of offers via a spatial marketplace system involves registering potential customers as members of the system by recording their names and contact details in a database. A spatial identifier, sourced from the contact details supplied during a registration process, is assigned to each database record. Each member nominates one or more attributes corresponding to a commodity in relation to which the member is interested in receiving offers. Each supplier defines a geographic region in which the supplier wishes to do business and nominates one or more attributes corresponding to commodities, which the supplier wishes to sell. A spatial identifier location algorithm is used to identify the database records with spatial identifers located within the supplier defined geographical region. Delivery of offers from a supplier is restricted to members associated with the identified database records which have nominated attributes matching the supplier nominated attributes.
Abstract:
When selecting an advertisement to be presented to a viewer in an advertisement system on the Internet, a factor reflecting the past record of viewing for each advertisement is involved in a selection judgment criterion, thereby performing presentation control according to the advertisement inventory. Even when viewers of a particular profile and hobby−preference have accessed, the advertisement optimal to the target is not repeatedly presented, but other advertisements appropriate to the target are presented for the second and later presentations with a high possibility. Thus, the advertisement inventory is uniformly presented. As a result, it is possible to control advertisement presentation considering the inventory without concentrating presentation of particular (or a part of) advertisement information in the advertisement inventory.
Abstract:
A method and system providing an advertisements and commercial transactions to users of the system is provided wherein advertisements are downloaded from an advertisement provider and stored in the mobile phone of the user. An advertisement is outputted as either a ringing tone during a mobile terminated call or as a ring-back tone during a mobile originated call. The number of times the advertisements are outputted by the mobile is counted and further provided to the advertisement provider to reward the user with benefits such as reduction of fee for a telephone call, a point accumulation or a discount on a purchase. The associated commercial transaction service and system enables a user to purchase a product of a sponsor company in association with the listening of a particular advertisement. The purchase of a product is also rewarded to the user.
Abstract:
This invention relates to consumer data collection and marketing. Previously, consumers were deprived of opportunities to earn money and other rewards from businesses for sharing valuable information about themselves. Embodiments of the present invention use a personal data marketing disintermediation service that enables a consumer to configure engagement settings and personal data access rules, rates, and schedules that manage vendor access to consumer personal data. A cognitive and predictive analytics-driven marketing service performs predictive analytics to match the consumer's syndicated persona with context-relevant offers from vendors. A cross-channel marketing and payments operations integration service enables users to earn money from vendors who pay for licensed access of the personal information, to store the earned money in a secure stored value payment device, and to spend earned money through any of several marketplace channels.
Abstract:
Techniques are provided herein for utilizing a dynamic geo-fence management engine. The techniques include receiving a set of parameters corresponding to a virtual geographic perimeter. A user may be determined based at least in part on a geographical location of the user and the set of parameters corresponding to the virtual geographic perimeter. A notification for the user may be generated, the notification being formatted according to a push notification service protocol the notification including the set of parameters. The notification may be provided to a remote computing device. Receipt of the notification by the remote computing device may cause the remote computing device to provide, to the user, information related to the virtual geographic perimeter.
Abstract:
Techniques related to data communication between a server device and a client device are described. In one aspect of the present invention, a server is operated by an publisher in connection with a plurality of message distributors, and the client device is a computing device associated with a consumer or an end user. Depending on what information submitted from the client device, a message distributor determines most relevant information for the user and compensates the end user for viewing or listening to the information. According to one aspect of the present invention, the server device executes a server module invented, uniquely designed, implemented or configured to cause the server device to determine what is the most relevant information a subscriber is interested in viewing or listening to at a cost most effective to the publisher/ distributor of the information and a payment most appealing to the user.
Abstract:
A mobile device and a server exchange information in response to the mobile device detecting a proximity beacon. Upon detecting the proximity beacon, the mobile device initiates a web service call to the server. A mobile device user will indicate a choice whether to opt-in upon registration. If the user has opted in, the server will retrieve additional information about the user including prescription information. The server will transmit prescription information and other marketing information to the mobile device. The server may be configured to receive additional information from the mobile device, for example, a request for a prescription to be refilled.
Abstract:
A method and a corresponding system for obtaining information and approval to market to a certain person, include: storing in a database, by a platform server, at least an identifier; and sending an incentive to the certain person in response to receiving verification from a communication device of the certain person using the identifier and approval for receiving marketing from a merchant. The certain person can be the recipient of a gift or a card, or a customer receiving a self-bought package. The identifier can be a unique identifier such that the incentive can include a custom message or other personalization. The recipient of a gift or a card can send a "thank you" and / or a custom message to the respective gift giver or the card sender. The platform server does not share contact information between the giver and the recipient.
Abstract:
The disclosed embodiment relates to establishing communication with a nearby user computing device. An exemplary method executed by one or more computing devices comprises monitoring a geographic area to determine whether a user computing device is located within the proximity of at least one of the one or more computing devices, and when the user computing device is located within the proximity of at least one of the one or more computing devices, identifying, by at least one of the one or more computing devices, the user computing device based on identifying information associated with the user computing device. The method preferably further comprises transmitting promotional information to the user computing device, the promotional information being based at least in part on the identity of the user computing device and the geographic location of the user computing device.
