摘要: A method for conducting a velocity check for outbound subscribers roaming to neighboring countries includes receiving, by a network gateway associated with a home country from an MSC associated with a neighboring country, an ingress signaling message related to a mobile device roaming in the neighboring country, sending, to an HLR in the home country, an interrogation request message containing a mobile subscriber identifier, and receiving an interrogation response message containing age of location information and cell identifier information corresponding to the mobile subscriber identifier. The method further includes utilizing the cell identifier information and a country code identifier included in the ingress signaling message to determine two latitude-longitude positions, determining an estimated transit time of the mobile device using the two latitude-longitude reference positions, and comparing age of location information with the estimated transit time to determine if the ingress signaling message is to be forwarded to the HLR.

摘要: A user equipment (UE) initiates a positioning session based on ranging in a distributed system of UEs. The positioning session includes a plurality of anchor UEs with known positions that provide information including ranging information and their positions to the initiator UE in post-ranging messages. The initiator UE identifies anchor UEs that provide information that does not significantly contribute to the final position estimate for the initiator UE. The initiator UE, for example, may generate position estimates and associated accuracy levels for different subsets of anchor UEs and may use the accuracy levels to identify a subset of anchor UEs that may be used for positioning in place of the full set of anchor UEs without a significant loss of accuracy. Selected UEs are excluded from providing post-ranging messages in subsequent positioning sessions to reduce signaling overhead and improve efficiency.

A first device having one or more processors coupled with memory may identify a session token from an initiation of a session between the first device and a second device via a network path of a plurality of network paths. The first device may determine that the first network path is to be trusted based at least on a property of the network path. The first device may validate the session token for use over the plurality of network paths, responsive to determining that the network path is to be trusted. 摘要: Approaches for renewing a digital vendor certificate of a network device, over a communication network, are described. In one example, a network device may generate and transmit a renewal request with network device attributes and a vendor certificate to a centralized server. The network device attributes may include a Secure Device Identity of the network device. The centralized server, on receiving the renewal request, may derive the network device attributes and the vendor certificate, and may then process the request to authenticate the network device. Upon successful authentication, the centralized server may generate a renewed vendor certificate and transmit it to the network device. The network device, on receiving the renewed vendor certificate, may install the renewed vendor certificate.

摘要: Systems and methods for user identification using a cellular communications system are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method for user identification comprises, at a Network Exposure Function (NEF), receiving a user identification request from an Application Function (AF) comprising information that indicates a location(s) of a user for which identification is requested and sending the user identification request to a Network Data Analytics Function (NWDAF). The method further comprises, at the NWDAF, receiving the user identification request, obtaining a User Equipment (UE) identity of a UE for which a location(s) of the UE match the location(s) of the user, obtaining subscription data for the UE, and sending a user identification response comprising the UE identity and/or at least some of the subscription data for the UE. The method further comprises, at the NEF, receiving the user identification response and sending the user identification response to the AF.
