摘要: The invention relates to a method and system for phosphate recovering from a waste stream, such as an animal manure waste stream. The method comprises the steps of: - providing a tank reactor; 5 - providing acidogenic bacteria and/or acetogenic bacteria and the waste stream to the tank reactor; - hydrolysing the waste stream, forming a reaction mixture; - providing a gas flow to the reaction mixture for removing carbon dioxide from the reaction mixture; 10 - providing the reaction mixture to an anaerobic sludge reactor; - removing a compound comprising phosphate from the reaction mixture within the anaerobic sludge reactor; and - removing gas from the reaction mixture within the anaerobic sludge reactor.

摘要: System for reducing emission of nitrogen from animal manure containing ammonium, comprising a reservoir for collecting excreted animal manure therein, manure displacing means for removing the manure collected in the reservoir from the reservoir, a separator configured to separate a solid component of manure removed by the manure displacing means from a liquid component of the removed manure, and a device for removing nitrogen from the liquid component of the removed manure, comprising a reactor unit which is in fluid connection with the separator and which is configured to increase a free ammonia content in the liquid component of the removed manure separated by the separator in order to reduce the ammonium concentration in the liquid component of the removed manure.

The current invention has applications in aquaculture management, management of water bodies like lakes, reservoirs, and ponds.

摘要: The present invention relates to a system or process for anaerobically treating wastewater. The system employs a pre-treatment unit that includes an MBBR having biomass supported on biofilm carriers. The biomass hydrolyzes or leads to a level of hydrolysis of particulate matter and acidifies the wastewater. In the process, the biomass yields relatively high acid production rates while employing a relatively short hydraulic retention time.

摘要: Methods of treating a waste stream containing perfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are disclosed. The methods include directing the waste stream to a dilution compartment of an electrochemical separation device, directing a treatment stream to a concentration compartment of the electrochemical separation device, and applying a voltage across the electrodes to produce a dilute stream substantially free of the PFAS and a concentrate stream. At least one of the waste stream and the treatment stream comprises a water miscible organic solvent. Methods of concentrating PFAS from a wastewater are also disclosed. PFAS concentration systems are also disclosed. The systems include a column comprising an ion exchange resin and an electrochemical separation device having a dilution compartment fluidly connected to an outlet of the column. Methods of facilitating treatment of a waste stream containing PFAS are also disclosed.

The apparatus includes an anodic compartment having an anode disposed on a first side of the anodic compartment and a cathodic compartment having a cathode disposed on a first side of the cathodic compartment. The apparatus further includes a first cation permeable fluidic separator disposed on a second side of the anodic compartment and a second cation permeable fluidic separator disposed on a second side of the cationic compartment. A center compartment is defined between the first cation permeable fluidic separator and the second cation permeable fluidic separator. The apparatus further includes a flow control system configured to independently control flow of water through each of the anodic compartment, the cathodic compartment, and the center compartment. Methods of generating hydrogen, carbon dioxide, and oxygen from seawater using the apparatus are also disclosed.

摘要: Equipo y procedimiento de extracción de sólidos en fluidos contaminados cuyo fundamento es obtener los sólidos cristalizados de los fluidos contaminados, sin ningún tipo de rechazo para valorización de los mismos y obtención de agua purificada en una etapa, todo en proceso continuo adiabático/sónico con evaporación/cristalización y con un bajo consumo energético y donde el procedimiento caracteriza por estar constituido fundamentalmente por al menos tres circuitos interconectados totalmente como un solo equipo donde el primer circuito, circuito principal, se encuentra constituido por un conducto de entrada del fluido contaminado a tratar (1) seguido de un pre-filtro (2) -seguido de un filtros de partículas finas (3), un intercambiador de calor un fluido contaminado precalentado (5) en el intercambiador (4) seguido de -una bomba de alimentación de fluido (6) hasta una tobera formada por un inyector (7) y un eyector (8), que introducen el fluido a una cámara de evaporación (9), de donde el vapor que sale se introduce en un servomecanismo electromagnético de lazo cerrado (26),-un eyector de salida de vapor saturado (32), -conducido hasta el intercambiador de calor (4), salida (13) como agua purificada del vapor saturado (22).
