Abstract: Verfahren zur Überwachung wenigstens eines Kraftfahrzeugs (7), welches ein zur vollständig automatischen Führung des Kraftfahrzeugs (7) ausgebildetes Fahrzeugsystem (10) und eine zur Kommunikation mit einer entfernten, kraftfahrzeugexternen Recheneinrichtung (2) ausgebildete Kommunikationseinrichtung (9) aufweist, wobei während der vollständig automatischen Führung des Kraftfahrzeugs (7) durch das Fahrzeugsystem (10): eine eine die vollständig automatische Führung beschreibende Führungsinformation und eine wenigstens eine aktuelle Position des Kraftfahrzeugs (7) beinhaltende Ortsinformation umfassende Fahrzeuginformation an die Recheneinrichtung (2) übermittelt wird; die empfangene Fahrzeuginformation gemeinsam mit einer seitens der Recheneinrichtung (2) vorliegenden, auf die Position des Kraftfahrzeugs (7) bezogenen Fahrumgebungsinformation zu einer Statusinformation des Kraftfahrzeugs (7) ausgewertet und einer Überwachungsperson (6) an einer Anzeigeeinrichtung (4) zur Anzeige gebracht wird; bei Empfang einer Eingriffsinformation der Überwachungsperson (6) über eine der Anzeigeeinrichtung (4) zugeordnete Eingabeeinrichtung (5) die Eingriffsinformation an das Kraftfahrzeug (7) rückübermittelt wird und das Kraftfahrzeug (7) zur Durchführung eines durch die Eingriffsinformation beschriebenen Eingriffs in die vollständig automatische Führung des Kraftfahrzeugs (7) betrieben wird.

Abstract: A materials handling vehicle technology monitor receives wirelessly, from a fleet of materials handling vehicles, electronic vehicle records. Each electronic vehicle record includes technology feature data recorded by a controller on an associated materials handling vehicle. Typically, the electronic vehicle record is generated in response to a corresponding technology feature on the materials handling vehicle being operated in a work environment. Moreover, each electronic vehicle record includes an operator identification of an operator of the materials handling vehicle at the time the technology feature data is recorded. The monitor also generates for each operator, an electronic measurement based upon a comparison of expected technology feature usage, e.g., a threshold, compared to the technology feature data in the received electronic vehicle records, which are associated with the corresponding operator. The process further comprises outputting to a dashboard, a graphical representation of the generated measurements.

Abstract: An exemplary embodiment may provide a robotic powered cargo handling system. An embodiment may implement a pallet-lift mechanism to lift cargo or pallets. Powered rollers may be embedded into the forks of a pallet-lift mechanism and on top of the vehicle body. An exemplary embodiment may be fully autonomous. A user or software may direct the vehicle to a pallet or piece of cargo and set a destination for the cargo. Sensors, cameras, GPS, and computer vision may be implemented to navigate and avoid obstacles. An exemplary embodiment may include independent 4-wheel steering, 4 corner height adjustment, in-hub electric motors, and pneumatic or solid tires.

A method for dispatching vehicles for service includes receiving, by a service dispatcher, a first input comprising a plurality of state data of a fleet of aerial vehicles and a second input comprising a service objective; determining, using the first input, that one or more aerial vehicles in the fleet meets a set of criteria associated with performing the service objective; submitting a bid on the one or more aerial vehicles, the bid configured to induce a vehicle allocator to allocate the one or more aerial vehicles to the service dispatcher; receiving an allocation of some or all of the one or more aerial vehicles; generating a plan to use the allocation to perform the service objective; and dispatching the allocation according to the plan.

Abstract: A system may include a vehicle for delivering items and a plurality of racks having a plurality of storage locations. The racks may be arranged to form one or more aisles. The vehicles are configured to drive horizontally along a path that may extend along a path under the racks that is parallel to the aisles. Additionally, the vehicles may be operated to turn while the vehicle is positioned under one of the racks. The vehicles may travel under the racks and cross one or more aisles to reach a particular column in one of the aisles. The vehicle climbs upwardly within the particular column to retrieve an item from a storage location in the column.
