    Abstract: In some embodiments, a computer-implemented method of managing a fleet of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) is provided. A fleet management computing system receives telemetry information from a plurality of UAVs. The fleet management computing system generates a map interface having a plurality of UAV icons based on the telemetry information. The fleet management computing system receives a selection of an initial group of UAV icons via the map interface, wherein the initial group of UAV icons includes two or more UAV icons. The fleet management computing system receives a de-selection of one or more UAV icons from the initial group of UAV icons to create a final selected group of UAV icons. The fleet management computing system transmits a command to UAVs associated with the UAV icons of the final selected group of UAV icons.

    Abstract: The invention relates to an automated storage and retrieval system (1) comprising a rail system (108,308) with perpendicular tracks in X and Y direction, wherein the storage and retrieval system (1) comprises: - a plurality of remotely operated container handling vehicles (230,330,240,340,250,350) configured to move laterally on the rail system (108,308); and - a main control system (109) using a first communication system for communicating with the plurality of remotely operated container handling vehicles (230,330,240,340,250,350), wherein the main control system (109) monitors and controls the movement of the plurality of container handling vehicles (230,330,240,340,250,350) via the first communication system; - at least one service vehicle movable on the rail system (108,308), wherein the at least one service vehicle is configured to bring a malfunctioning remotely operated container handling vehicle to a service area (160) outside of the rail system where the remotely operated container handling vehicles (230,330,240,340,250,350) operate; wherein the system further comprises: - a secondary control system using a second communication system, wherein the second communication system is independent of the main communication system, wherein the secondary control system for communicating with the at least one service vehicle on the rail system such as to monitor and control the movement of the at least one service vehicle. The invention also relates to a method of operating an automated storage and retrieval system and a main control system.

    Abstract: Methods and systems for managing flights being performed by a fleet of aircraft are provided. A system for managing flights may include computers and storage devices, the storage devices storing instructions that when executed cause the computers to implement a receiver configured to receive an inbound message comprising flight telemetry data, a telemetry joiner configured to generate joined telemetry data by joining the flight telemetry data with related telemetry data, a flight aggregator configured to identify a flight associated with the joined telemetry message and generate an updated flight data using the joined telemetry data and other received flight data associated with the flight, a command generation module configured to generate an outbound message comprising a new command using the updated flight data, and a commands repository configured to store the outbound message, which the telemetry joiner is configured to query for the previously issued command.
