The invention relates to a method for injection moulding an article having a thickness of between 1 to 3 mm and having a b value in the CIE colour systemof between -1 and +0.1 and a haze value of less than 2%, as measured at 2 mm thickness, comprising the following steps: a) Providing a composition comprising: i) a polyester produced by copolymerizing, in the presence of an aluminum or germanium compound, at least three monomers chosen from at least one alkylenediol and at least one dicarboxylic acid component, ii) from 1 to 5 ppm of at least one dye and iii) from 0.1 to 0.5m% of a fatty acid ester mould release agent, b) Injecting the composition in a mould at a temperature of below 60°C until the mould is filled; c) Ejecting the article. The invention further relates to a composition comprising, A) a polyester produced by copolymerizing 1,2-ethanediol and two dicarboxylic acid components in the presence of a germanium compound, the dicarboxylic acid components comprising a terephthalic acid component and 4-20 mol% of an isophthalic acid component, the mol% being relative to the total amount of the dicarboxylic acid component, characterised that the composition further comprises, B) from 0.2 to 1.5 ppm of at least one dye, C) from 0.1 to 0.5 m% of stearylstearateor glyceroltristearate and to an article having a wall thickness of between 1 and 3 mm comprising this composition.

Use of hemicellulose derivatives as adhesives, or adhesion promoting components, in hot melt or pressure-sensitive adhesives as well as novel adhesive compositions. The present derivatives are preferably ethers or esters of xylan or galactoglucomannan, such as hydroxyalkylated xylan or galactoglucomannan, having a degree of substitution of about 0.15 to 1.5. The molecular weight of the xylan extracted from bleached hardwood pulp or galactoglucomannan extracted from wood chips or meal is suitable as such, and simple derivatization for example by hydroxypropylation delivers a suitable adhesive component.

The invention relates to a composition that can rapidly plasticise polymers, comprising, in relation to the total mass of (A) and (B): between 0.1 and 99 mass-% of at least one ester of 1,4 : 3,6-dianhydrohexitol (A), having a molar mass varying between 255 and 345 g.mol-1 and selected from among monoesters and diesters of isosorbide, isomannide and isoidide; and between 1 and 99.9 mass-% of at least one compound (B) having a molar mass greater than 345 g.mol-1 and selected from among the esters of 1,4 :3,6-dianhydrohexitol, the esters of cyclohexane polycarboxylic acid, the esters of phthalic acid, and glycerol esters. The invention also relates to a method for the production of a plasticised object using constituents (A) and (B), as well as to the use of the ester compound (A) as a polymer gelification accelerator.

Solid additive particles are added to solid vinylidene chloride (VDC) polymer particles by a process comprising the steps of: A. Polymerizing VDC monomer, optionally with one or more mono-ethylenically unsaturated comonomers, in a polymerization zone under polymerization conditions to form solid VDC polymer particles; B. Stopping the polymerization of the VDC monomers after formation of the solid VDC polymer particles; and C. Contacting the solid VDC polymer particles with the solid additive particles (i) before the solid VDC polymer particles are de-watered, and (ii) at a temperature sufficient to melt or soften the solid additives particles but insufficient to melt or soften the solid VDC polymer particles such that the melted or softened solid additive particles adhere to the solid VDC polymer particles upon contact.
