Abstract:
When evaluating patient cases to determine complexity thereof, a computer- aided stratification technique is applied to analyze historical patient case diagnoses and correctness thereof in order to calculate a stratification score (20) for each of a plurality of abnormality types and/or anatomical locations. When a new patient case is received, the computer-aided stratification technique is applied to evaluate the patient case in view of historical data and assign a stratification score thereto. A ranked list (21) of current patient cases can be generated according to stratification scores, and physician workload can be adjusted as a function thereof so that workload is balanced across physicians and/or according to physician experience level.
Abstract:
A system and method for organizing and training players for participation in a team sport. Player skills are evaluated relative to positions for a type of sport and player position ratings for use in organizing a team of players and further developing player skills is displayed. The method may include selecting a set of skills important for an athlete to be a successful soccer player; establishing a player evaluation measure for assigning a player evaluation value to a player based on observing player performance; identifying the importance of each skill in the set of skills for each of the player positions for a soccer team and assigning an importance rating value for the skill and position; calculating a weighted evaluation value and determining the average weighted evaluation value for a player's skills; and determining a player position rating for a player for each player position on a soccer team.
Abstract:
A system includes a utility analytics system having a memory configured to store an event forecaster. The utility analytics system also includes a processor communicatively coupled to the memory. The processor is configured to receive or access data related to weather conditions, vegetation conditions, and historical events along the power grid, and the processor is also configured to execute instructions of the event forecaster to identify one or more potential events in the power grid based at least in part on the data related to weather conditions, vegetation conditions, and historical events along the power grid.
Abstract:
A computing system operates to process multiple transport requests at one time, each of the multiple transport request specifying a pickup location that is within a geographic region. During a given interval when each of the multiple transport request are open, a pool of candidate drivers is determined within the geographic region that can fulfill one or more of the transport requests within a threshold duration of time. A driver is selected for each of the multiple transport requests. In selecting the driver, the computer system implements an optimization process to minimize an estimated time to pick up for at least one of the multiple transport requests.
Abstract:
Systems and methods are provided for matching users. For example, a user list that includes multiple users to be matched is maintained; one or more first users are retrieved from the user list; one or more first user groups including the one or more first users are retrieved, the one or more first user groups containing a predetermined number of users from the user list; one or more first matching degrees are calculated for the one or more first user groups; a second user group associated with a highest first matching degree is selected from the one or more first user groups; and the second user group is returned.
Abstract:
A collaboration system may include a computing device that may communicate with the at least one other computing device via a computing network network. The computing device may receive data that has been acquired using one or more non-destructive testing (NDT) inspection devices, receive an input that may cause a list of one or more experts indicated as available to collaborate to be derived. The computing device may also receive a selection of at least one expert from the list of experts. After receiving the expert selection, the computing device may establish a communication connection between the computing device and the at least one other computing device that corresponds to the at least one expert. Here, the communication connection may share data depicted on the computing device with the at least one other computing device.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for determining asset assignment in a service delivery environment are provided. A method for asset assignment in a service delivery environment, comprises identifying a number of worktypes, defining a plurality of asset resource pools and identifying a number of the resource pools, calculating a uniqueness of each resource pool, computing a utilization of each resource pool, and determining a uniqueness adjusted utilization value for each resource pool, wherein one or more steps of the method are performed by a computer system comprising a memory and at least one processor coupled to the memory.
Abstract:
Systems and methods of managing human resources to facilitate the assigning of contractors to work contracts including the steps of: preparing contract information which includes details of contracts which are to be fulfilled; preparing contractor information which includes details of contractors who are seeking work contracts; and associating contractors with contracts based on the contract information and the contractor information.
Abstract:
Technology is described for scheduling and rescheduling a purchased task. The method may include receiving a defined time range and parameters for when the purchased task is to be performed. An anchor may be set on a scheduling calendar according to the defined time range and parameters received. Another operation may be estimating a task duration to perform the purchased task. One or more service providers able to perform the purchased task may be identified according to the anchor and for the task duration. A service provider may be selected based on schedule efficiency as a function of the anchor of the purchased task with respect to the scheduled anchors of scheduled tasks for each service provider. The purchased task may then be assigned to a selected service provider at an efficient schedule time.
