The endoscope cap includes a ramp that may be used to deflect medical devices that have been advanced from a proximal portion of an endoscope to a distal portion thereof. 摘要： A decontamination system including a test fixture configured to engage an endoscope in order to retain the test fixture thereto, wherein the endoscope can comprise a valve chamber and a valve removable from the valve chamber such that the test fixture can be inserted therein. The test fixture can comprise, first, a frame having a first gripping portion and a valve member analogue extending from the frame, and, second, a housing having a second gripping portion movable relative to the frame between a locked position and an unlocked position, wherein the second gripping portion is configured to be moved toward the first gripping portion to position the housing in its unlocked position. The second gripping portion can be configured to be moved away from the first gripping portion to position the housing in its locked position such that the housing can engage a locking feature on the endoscope.

摘要： The present invention provides a gas water bottle adaptor that is suitable for attachment to a water bottle and to a bottle cap. The adaptor can include a gas inlet on one side thereof suitable for attachment to the gas connection of an endoscope. A sealing member can be affixed to the adaptor to prevent leakage of any fluid (e.g., liquid or gas) that is inside of the water bottle. The adaptor may be used in endoscopy methods and is particularly useful for adding a secondary gas source to a water bottle.

In various embodiments, the surgical instruments can be inserted at various angles with respect to the tissue treatment region to provide the surgeon with better access to the surgical site during an operation. In at least one embodiment, the surgical instrument guide may include a body portion having a first port and a second port defined therein. In such embodiments, the first and second ports may each be configured to receive a surgical instrument there through. Additionally, in various embodiments, at least one of the first and second ports can be configured to allow for pivotal movement of the surgical instrument within the body of the surgical instrument guide.

The opening element may be employed to at least partially open the pinhole opening (4) to facilitate insertion of the instrument (6) through the pinhole opening (4). The opening element comprises a sheet (11) of flexible material. The sheet (11) is movable distally relative to the seal (3) between a rest configuration and an opening configuration. In the rest configuration the sheet (11) is substantially planar. In the opening configuration, the pointed, the leading end (16) of the sheet (11) enters the pinhole opening (4) and moves distally through the pinhole opening (4) to at least partially open the pinhole opening (4).

A fluid inlet (84) is in communication with the chamber/cavity (82), and is attachable to a source of an anti-microbial fluid in the washing system. A fluid outlet (138) communicates with the chamber/cavity to allow the anti-microbial fluid to exit the fixture (10).
