Abstract:

The invention further relates to a method of assembling an axle bearing, which may be used to assembly a product supporting roller assembly, the method comprising positioning a plurality of roller bearings and a roller bearing housing inside a hole, the roller bearings each being connected to a roller bearing holding means and the roller bearings being housed in the roller bearing housing, positioning an axle through the roller bearing housing, and disconnecting the roller bearings from the roller bearing holding means.
Abstract:
A large and massive panel (12) is manoeuvred and supported by means of a work piece support (10) which has an upper horizontal work piece support surface (22) for receiving the panel in extended surface-to-surface contact. An array of apertures (24) is provided in the work piece support surface, beneath same of which are provided low friction bearing elements (28) moveable between a raised, load-bearing position in which the panel can be slid onto the work piece support and a retracted position in which the panel is left in extended surface to surface contact with the work piece support.
Abstract:

The drive means may include a pair of spaced-apart spur gears which have teeth that engage with rack teeth of the conveying elements. The conveying device may include a hollow universal joint having axes of rotation lying substantially in the same plane.
Abstract:

Abstract:
The present invention provides a loading and unloading apparatus comprising in mutual cooperation a conveyor device (3) adjacent a roller table (2), where said conveyor device and roller table are pivotably mounted on a carrying structure (5), which structure, in use is vertically extendable and retractable.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A modular roller conveyor system (10) is disclosed having a first (12, 14) and second pair (16, 18) of elongated vertical supports. The first pair of vertical supports (12, 14) are adjustably secured (58) together so that the first pair of supports (12, 14) are spaced apart and parallel to each other at a user selected spacing between the first pair of vertical supports (12, 14). Similarly, the second pair of vertical supports (16, 18) are also adjustably secured (58) together so that the second pair of vertical supports (16, 18) are spaced apart and parallel to each other at the same user selected spacing. A first elongated rail (20) is then secured to the upper end of one of the first pair of vertical supports (14) and to the upper end of one of the second pair of vertical supports (18). A second rail (22) is then secured to the upper end of the other of both the first (12) and second pair (16) of vertical supports so that the rails (20, 22) are spaced apart and parallel to each other. A plurality of spaced roller assemblies (24) are then disposed between and supported by the rails (20, 22) thus forming the conveyor path along which articles (26) are conveyed.
Abstract:
A level gravity conveyor (11) provides a plurality of individual load-engaging support pads (44) aligned longitudinally along the conveyor. The pads are movably supported on runway segments (34) which extend longitudinally. Each runway segment defines an upper raceway surface (41) which movably supports the pad, which upper surface in the preferred embodiment is defined by a plurality of support rollers (41). The runway segments (34) are alternately raised and lowered so that, when in a raised position, the upper surfaces slope downward by gravity along the inclined upper surfaces to forwardly advance the loads through a small distance. When the runway segments (34) are lowered so that the pads disengage the loads, the upper raceway surfaces (41) slope downwardly in the upstream direction to cause gravity-induced return movement of the pads (44) to their original upstream positions.
Abstract:
Roller conveyor with vertically adjustable rollers (1) which can be raised and lowered pneumatically by the inflation of tubes (5) inserted under the rollers' trunnions (4) in longitudinal side members (2), in which there is also disposed a manoeuvring rail (6). Each side member has a longitudinal, removable top channel part (9) which is arranged to retain the trunnions in the longitudinal direction, a U-shaped bottom channel part (8) with a longitudinal part (8'') which defines and surrounds the area for the trunnions and the manoeuvring rail and is arranged to secure the top channel part (9).
