Abstract:
The present invention provides a can dispenser for storing, moving, displaying and dispensing of cans while in the upright, as opposed to side, position. In one embodiment, the can dispenser includes a first inclined passageway, a drop section communicating with the first inclined passageway, and a second inclined passageway inclined in a direction opposite to the first inclined passageway and communicating with the drop section. The dispenser also includes a dispensing area communicating with the second inclined passageway.
Abstract:
A serpentine dispenser and cartridge system provides simplified stocking and restocking of the dispenser, as well as jam-free dispenser feeding. Cartridge opening flaps allow a cartridge be inverted and inserted into a dispenser while products in the cartridge are prevented from falling out. A dispenser wedge applies pressure on rolling products as the cartridge is inserted into the dispenser, forcing a retaining flap open so that rolling products may exit the cartridge and enter the dispenser. The wedge may also constrain rolling products to exit the cartridge in an order that prevents jamming.
Abstract:
Described herein are a robotic distribution apparatus, system and method. The robotic distribution system may include a Package Delivery Kiosk (PDK). The PDK includes a distribution kiosk and shelving system. The kiosk and shelving system includes configurable shelves and dividers (410) to enable access to the packages. The shelving system handles packages from a robotic placement mechanism and includes shelves that have receiving apertures (510). The shelving system further includes dividers (410) that fit into the receiving apertures (510). Each of the dividers (410) has a receiving slot (411) that allows a robotic gripper arm to grab or handle a package with respect to a slot between a pair of dividers (410).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a product supporting roller assembly comprising an elongate spine member and a plurality of rollers, each mounted on the spine member such that the rollers extend outwards on both sides of the spine member. The invention further relates to a product holding unit comprising a plurality of such product supporting roller assemblies. The invention further relates to a method of assembling an axle bearing, which may be used to assembly a product supporting roller assembly, the method comprising positioning a plurality of roller bearings and a roller bearing housing inside a hole, the roller bearings each being connected to a roller bearing holding means and the roller bearings being housed in the roller bearing housing, positioning an axle through the roller bearing housing, and disconnecting the roller bearings from the roller bearing holding means.
Abstract:
A system for dispensing items comprises trays each adapted to support items to be dispensed. A casing comprises a restocking volume receiving trays with items thereon for subsequent storage. A storage volume accommodates the trays in storage. An outlet is used to dispense any selected items on the trays. An arm displaces trays within the casing, and displaces items from the trays to the outlet. A controller unit receives an identification of each item in the trays when positioned in the restocking volume, and monitors a position of each identified item within the trays in the casing to control the actuation of the arm to dispense items through the outlet as a function of an order entered through the user interface.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus for supplying a spoon and a chopstick, the apparatus comprising: a casing (20) formed with a spoon/chopstick dispensing hole (24); a spoon/chopstick holder (30) rotatably accommodated in the casing (20) and holding plural sets of spoons/chopsticks (10); and a rotation adjuster (40) connected to the spoon/chopstick holder (30) and adjusting rotation of the spoon/chopstick holder (30) so as to in turn dispense the spoons /chopsticks (10) contained in the spoon/chopstick holder (30). With this configuration, the plural sets of spoons and chopsticks are simply and conveniently accommodated therein and the accommodated plural sets of spoons and chopsticks are discharged one set by one set.
Abstract:

Abstract:
An adjustable tray for a merchandise display system may include a retainer for limiting the movement of products loaded in the adjustable tray, a pusher mechanism configured to bias product toward the retainer, a first divider extending from a first panel and second divider extending from a second panel. The spacing between the first divider and the second divider can be configured to be adjusted. The first panel and the second panel can be configured to move to provide additional surface area for the adjustable tray to accommodate different sized products.
Abstract:
A rack assembly of storage bins has a back wall, series of vertical slots in the back wall, partition members having tongues for fixing the partition member to the back wall Extending between the partition members are bin floors, the edges of the floor members located in slots in the partition members The spacing of the slots in the back wall and of the slots in the partition members is selected to permit a range of spacings of horizontally adjacent partition members and a range of spacings of vertically adjacent floor members By suitable selection of the spacings, a large variety of bin sizes can be obtained.
Abstract:
A merchandise security system includes a rail adapted to be secured to a first associated merchandising structure, which can be a shelf or a wire rack display. The rail includes a first longitudinally extending channel. At least one tile is mounted to the rail. The at least one tile extends away from the rail so as to approach a second associated merchandising structure spaced from the first associated merchandising structure. The at least one tile includes a protrusion which is accommodated in the first rail channel to enable a sliding movement of the tile in relation to the rail. This construction allows selective access to any desired portion of at least one of the first and second associated merchandising structures.
