Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a processor-based analysis system and method. The technology includes a water analysis computer program, which may be an app for a smart device. Beneficially, an interactive visual display device is in communication with a sensing device. Advantageously, test parameter algorithms may be updated, and use of an auxiliary product with an intended test may be validated. Benefits further include improved accuracy of test results, user customization, and storage, management and output of associated data.
Abstract:
A method requires no sample preparation to determine not only whether a fuel contains drag reduce additive (DRA), but also the manufacturer(s) of the DRA. To date, there is no available method to quickly and easily perform this analysis. Only 60 microliters of sample are needed for the determination, which can be performed within two hours.
Abstract:
An indicator composition for indicating that, an article has undergone an ethylene oxide sterilization process is provided. The indicator composition includes at least one pyridine derivative that reacts with moist ethylene oxide to provide an irreversible color change of the composition.
Abstract:
A system for early warning of health status decline includes at least one energy emitter configured to emit energy onto a field-of-view that contains an individual, and at least one energy sensor configured to capture reflected energy from within the field-of-view. A spatial measurement module calculates spatial measurements of a surface portion of the body of the individual when the individual is either stationary or moving about in real-time, based on data from the energy sensor. A comparator module detects deviations in measurements from baseline values indicative of a deterioration in health status of the individual.
