주행장치와 선회장치를 복합작동시킬 경우 복수의 유압펌프로부터 각각 최대 토출유량으로 공급되는 작동유에 의해 이들을 작동시킬 수 있는 유압식 건설기계를 개시한다. 본 발명에 따른 유압식 건설기계에 있어서, 제1유압펌프 및 제2유압펌프; 제1유압펌프에 연결되는 주행모터와 선회모터; 제2유압펌프에 연결되는 유압 액츄에이터; 제1유압펌프로부터 주행모터와 선회모터로 공급되는 작동유를 제어하는 제1컨트롤밸브와, 제2유압펌프로부터 유압 액츄에이터로 공급되는 작동유를 제어하는 제2컨트롤밸브를 포함하는 메인 컨트롤밸브; 제2유압펌프의 공급유로 최상류측에 설치되고, 주행모터와 선회모터를 동시 조작할 경우 절환되어 제1유압펌프의 작동유를 주행모터에 공급하고, 제2유압펌프의 작동유를 선회모터에 공급하는 제1제어밸브; 제2유압펌프의 공급유로 최하류측에 설치되고, 주행모터와 선회모터를 동시 조작할 경우 절환되어 제2유압펌프의 공급유로 최하류측 개구부를 닫는 제2제어밸브; 주행과 선회 조작여부를 감지한 조작신호가 콘트롤러에 입력될 경우 콘트롤러로부터의 제어신호에 대응되는 제어신호를 제1제어밸브 및 제2제어밸브에 출력하는 전자비례밸브를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 유압식 건설기계를 제공한다.

A method of optimizing machine performance in a plurality of load cases may involve the steps of: Determining a maximum load case for the machine, the maximum load case involving the application of a maximum force to at least one member of the machine; determining, for each of a plurality of member joints of the machine, a maximum member joint load for the maximum load case for the machine; and operating the machine by applying a force to the at least one member of the machine in each of the plurality of load cases so as not to exceed the maximum member joint load, the applied force exceeding the maximum force during at least one of the plurality of load cases.

Systems and methods for compensating dipper swing control. One method includes, with at least one processor, determining a direction of compensation opposite a current swing direction of the dipper and applying the maximum available swing torque in the direction of compensation when an acceleration of the dipper is greater than a predetermined acceleration value. The method can also include determining a current state of the shovel and performing the above steps when the current state of the shovel is a swing-to-truck state or a return-to-tuck state. When the current state of the shovel is a dig-state, the method can include limiting the maximum available swing torque and allowing, with the at least one processor, swing torque to ramp up to the maximum available swing torque over a predetermined period of time when dipper is retracted to a predetermined crowd position.

The first hydraulic circuit 201 includes a hydraulic cylinder assembly 202, a pressurized fluid source 306, and a fluid tank 210. The hydraulic cylinder assembly 202 includes a head end 212, a rod end 214, a cylinder 290, and a rod 292. The pressurized fluid source 306 and the fluid tank 210 are selectively connected to the head end 212 or the rod end 214. The second hydraulic circuit 208 includes a valve configured to receive a connection to tank signal and selectively connect the head end 212 or the rod end 214 to the fluid tank 210. The controller 182 is configured to generate the connection to tank signal.

A method of controlling the industrial machine includes determining a position of at least one of the one or more components of the industrial machine during a digging operation, determining a hoist bail pull setting based on the position of the at least one of the one or more components and a relationship between component position and hoist bail pull, and setting a level of hoist bail pull to the hoist bail pull setting. The level of hoist bail pull early in the digging operation is greater than the level of hoist bail pull later in the digging operation.
