The method may further include copying a second set of the graphics commands to a command buffer associated with the command list, where the second set of the graphics commands represents a remainder of the graphics commands in the command list upon excluding the first set of the graphics commands. The method may further include facilitating the graphics processor to execute the second set of the graphics commands from the command buffer.

In one embodiment, a processor determines a value for a lighting parameter associated with a captured facial image, determines whether any previously obtained images in a biometric database includes a similar value for the lighting parameter and, if not, stores the newly captured image in the database along with the lighting parameter value. In another embodiment, the processor calculates a score indicative of the likelihood that the face in the captured facial image is identical to the face of a previously obtained image in the database, determines whether the score exceeds a threshold value and, if so, generates a signal indicating a match. In compaction, the density of data storage within a storage device is increased. In compression, the number of bits used to represent information is reduced. Thus you can have compression while still having sparse or non-contiguously arranged storage. As a result, compression may not always reduce the memory footprint. By compacting compressed data, the footprint of the information stored within the memory may be reduced. Compaction may reduce the need for far memory accesses in some cases.
