Abstract:
A device for supporting food and a method of manufacturing the device for supporting food are provided. The device includes: a lower member including any one of a curved surface concavely formed in a direction, and in an angular shape; and a lateral member in which a lower portion is formed by combining with both lateral sides of the lower member, and which is formed in a concave direction of the lower member, wherein a containing portion is formed by the lower member and the lateral member, is formed corresponding to a portion of food, and contains the portion of the food. Accordingly, since food is grasped in a state where food is inserted in the containing portion, a user can easily grasp food without directly contacting with food, even when including food scraps, or food including sauce, and the like, which may soil the user's hands.
Abstract:
A condiment dispenser includes one or more condiment chambers for holding condiments. Each condiment chamber is connected to a common discharge chamber or to a respective discharge chamber, the discharge chamber(s) having an outlet for dispensing condiments from the condiment chamber(s). Each connection may be formed through a respective tube. A flow control mechanism may control the flow from a condiment chamber to a discharge chamber. The mechanism may be a dial that is operable to compress and decompress the tube. The dial may move between numerous positions and retain any position between uses. A dispersing element may be positioned respective to the outlet of a discharge chamber to control the dispensing and dispersing of condiments. In an example operation, the flow control mechanism(s) are adjusted to a desired flow and the dispenser is inverted, causing condiment(s) to flow from the condiment chamber(s) and into the discharge chamber(s), where the condiments are dispensed and dispersed.
Abstract:
A transparent bowl includes non-slip means and spoon-assisted food conglomeration means. Non-slip means may include a weight structure, a non-slip material affixed to the bowl bottom either substantially continuously covering the bottom or substantially discontinuously covering the bottom, using magnetic materials, or a suction cup. Spoon-assisted food conglomeration means may include a sloped bottom, a substantially spoon-shaped locus, a steep rim, or an inward-curving rim. The transparent bowl may further include an embedded decorative object or spillage reduction means. Spillage reduction means may include an abrupt taper terminus, a steep rim, an inward-curving rim, or a chamfered or rounded bowl vertex. The transparent bowl may further include a lid. Alternatively the bowl may comprise a sloped bottom terminating in a substantially spoon-shaped locus and further comprise non-slip means. In alternate embodiments the bowl may further comprise spillage reduction means or be characterized by a substantial transparent region. A substantial transparent region may further include one or more embedded decorative objects. In still further embodiments, the bowl may comprise non-slip means, spoon-assisted food conglomeration means, and spillage reduction means.
Abstract:
A first embodiment of wind resistant dishware (10) which has a food receiving chamber (12) from which angularly extends outwardly a peripheral edge (16). Formed within the peripheral edge is at least one hole (20, 22) and preferably two or more with this peripheral edge designed to be placed on a supporting surface (18, 42, 52). A thin sheet material strip (24) covers each hole. The undersurface of the thin sheet material strip includes a tacky adhesive (26). The thin sheet material strip is to be manually deflected through the hole and contact the supporting surface to form a temporary securement with the supporting surface which will temporarily fix into position the dishware to resist movement of the dishware due to wind. A further embodiment (31, 48) is to construct the dishware to be wind resistant without the use of an adhesive. This further embodiment uses a low profile which hugs onto a supporting surface even during a windy condition.
Abstract:
A system for reducing human body weight to a permanent optimal weight level comprises a portable kit that includes a plurality of foods with a known total carbohydrate content arranged in an asymmetric spatial arrangement, and spoiling prevention means for keeping the foods from spoiling. The asymmetric arrangement preferably includes a plurality of containers holding the foods and organized such that similar carbohydrate content foods are stored by groups, from a group of largest number of containers with carbohydrate free foods to preferably a single container with a carbohydrate rich food. Optionally, the groups are marked by different colors to provide additional identification of the carbohydrate content.
Abstract:
The inventive dishware consists of a support, post, and an adapter embodied in such a way that it ensures a transport function. The support is embodied in the form of a supporting podium, and the post in a form of a three-dimensional small sculpture. A body is embodied in the form of a lateral wall which forms a hollow reservoir. The adapter, at least one three-dimensional small sculpture and supporting podium are embodied in such a way that they form a structural assembly forming a display podium for at least one three-dimensional small sculpture. Said structural assembly is provided with at least one connection to the body. Said dishware is provided with at least one structural assembly.
Abstract:
A range of damage and wear-susceptible articles, including such as drinkware and flatware, and heat-susceptible articles, have a tough, protective plastic coating applied in sealing, protective relation with a surface portion. The protective coating may hermetically seal underlying decorative material, including toxic materials. Digital ink jet printing may be applied directly or by transfer, including pad transfer. A plastic undercoating incorporating an adhesion promoting additive may first be applied by DIJ printing or by flow coating. The impact resistance of drinking glasses can be improved ten-fold with a hard, visually undetectible 5-mil outer coating selected from polyesters and other polymers, polyurethanes and acrylates having the desired visual, toughness and bonding characteristics. With u.v. curing, high speed economic automated line production, the process is applicable to a wide range of articles.
