Abstract:
A method of processing greensheets, wherein the following steps are performed: a) providing a greensheet (1) having a width, length, thickness, a first side (5) and a second side (7); b) bonding to the first side of the greensheet at least one strip (a, b, c...), wherein the strip lies in a first plane; c) bonding to the second side of the green sheet at least one strip, wherein the strip lies in a second plane; d) processing the greensheet; and e) removing the strips from the processed greensheet.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing ceramics which sinter extremely well and are electrically conductive. As a result of their characteristics, such as low sinter temperatures, an advantageous perovskite structure and a thermal expansion coefficient that can be adjusted in certain areas, said ceramics are particularly suitable for use as electrically conductive connecting elements in high-temperature fuel cells or piezoceramics.
Abstract:
A cutting tool is provided composed of a hard substrate having a PVD coating thereon having three layers. The innermost of first layer (1) is composed of a group IVB (titanium, hafnium or zirconium) metal alloy. The middle or second layer (2 and 3) is composed of a group IVB carbonitride. The outermost or third layer (4) is also composed of a group IVB metal nitride. The PVD coating is characterized by high hardness and high residual compressive stresses.
