Abstract:
A method of conducting multiple competitions of skill for a single performance is described herein. User generated competition groups and system generated competition groups allow users to participate in multiple competitions at once based on answering the same questions or making the same selections related to a single event. The users are informed of each competition either via email, text message or when logging into the network via a website. The users select which competitions groups to join. After joining the desired groups, the users then make their selections related to the event which are transmitted to the network where results are tabulated and transmitted back to the users. The results are separated based on each competition group, so that users can continually know where they stand in each separate competition. With multiple competition groups, users are able to have varying success from the same performance in multiple competitions.

Embodiments of the present invention split game processing and rendering between a client and a game server. A rendered video game image is received from a game server and combined with a rendered image generated by the game client to form a single video game image that is presented to a user. Control input is received by a client device and then communicated to a game server, potentially with some preprocessing, and is also consumed locally on the client, at least in part. An embodiment of the present invention processes and renders some or all of a character's interactions with game objects on the client device associated with the character. A character is associated with a client device when control input associated with the character is received from a user of the client device.
Abstract:
A system and method for generating virtual objects, the data for the virtual object is retrieved at least in part from a tag (608). The tag comprises a transparent physical surface and a visually imperceptible structure constructed in the transparent physical surface. The tag encodes the data for the virtual objects in the visually imperceptible structure. When detected by the appropriately configured capture devices (614), the visually imperceptible structure produces a depth pattern that is reflected in phase shifts (616) between regions (610, 610a) in the tag.

Изобретение относится к компьютерным :(виртуальным, цифровым) играм, как однопользовательским, так и многопользовательским, сетевым. Способ модификации игровых параметров цифровых игр предусматривает ввод в процессе игры в игровую среду изменяющихся игровых модификаторов, при этом вводимые модификаторы определяют неинтерактивные параметры игры, а ввод модификаторов выполняет игровая программа путем запроса существующих вне игры изменяющихся данных из подобранных для игры баз данных, получения запрошенных модификаторов, трансформации их в подходящий для ввода в игру формат и последующего ввода в игру как неинтерактивных игровых параметров. Техническим результатом изобретения является создание способа модификации игровых параметров цифровых игр, влияющих на игровой процесс, путем получения данных их из внеигровой среды, интерпретируя прямо, или с преобразованием, реально происходящие события в реальном мире и применяя их в качестве игровых модификаторов, влияющих на развитие игрового процесса.

A multi-game action button deck in a concurrent gaming system is disclosed. The system includes at least one gaming machine in communication with a game server via a network, a display manager, a multi-game action button, and a touch sensor. The display manager is configured to display content related to one or more games to be played on the display areas of the gaming machine, wherein the content includes at least one game display area and a virtual button deck display area associated with each game. The display manager resizes and repositions the streaming video content on the display areas of the gaming machine depending on the game themes that are selected and the number of games that are selected. The multi-game action button is displayed on the virtual button deck, wherein the multi-game action button has multiple touch areas to control different combinations of games.

Methods and apparatuses for displaying information relating to a roulette game. A roulette game display comprises at least one of a hot bet field, a number frequency field, and an even-money bet road chart. The hot bet field displays a message including information relating to a highest ranking event stored in an event history. The number frequency field includes an arrangement of indicator spaces configured for marking to show recent results of a plurality of roulette wheel spins. The even-money bet road chart includes a grid for displaying a plurality of recently winning even-money bets.
