The conveying device comprises a guide (4) extending along a transport path, product carriers (3) for the slaughter animals, which are movable in a direction of movement along the guide, each product carrier comprising at least one groove inclined according to a direction of inclination for holding at least one held part of a slaughter animal therein. The at least one groove has an open upper end and a lower end. The removing device comprises a pusher element, which is movable to and fro between a passive position and an active position for pushing the at least one held part out of the at least one groove. The removing device comprises a further pusher element which is movable to and fro between a further passive position and a further active position. The pusher element is designed to push the at least one held part of a slaughter animal from the intermediate position, via the upper end of the at least one groove, out of said at least one groove in the active position or during its movement from the passive position to the active position.
Abstract:
Method for processing slaughtered poultry, wherein oven-ready carcasses of slaughtered poultry are conveyed by a feed conveyor (2), said feed conveyor having an endless track and carriers (2a) that are moved along said track, the feed conveyor carrier being adapted to support one carcass suspended from its legs. Each individual carcass is subjected at least one of: • - a determination of the individual carcass weight by a weighing device (4), • - a determination of the individual carcass size by an imaging device. For dividing the carcasses into parts use is made of a first cut-up line (10) and a second cut-up line (20), wherein each cut-up line has an associated cut-up line conveyor (11, 21), said cut-up line conveyor having an endless track and carriers (11a, 21a) that are moved along said track, each cut-up line conveyor carrier being adapted to support one carcass suspended from its legs. Each cut-up line comprises one or more cutting devices (12, 22) arranged along the track, which one or more cutting devices divide a carcass supported by a cut-up line conveyor carrier into parts.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for mechanized emptying of poultry holders and subsequent cleaning of a support structure of the emptied poultry holders on an underside only. The invention also relates to a method for mechanized emptying of poultry holders and subsequent cleaning of a support structure of the emptied poultry holders on an underside only.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a system and method for processing clusters of poultry viscera, at least comprising a gizzard. The method comprises conveying the clusters of viscera in a suspended manner, pulling the gizzard of each cluster of viscera, while the latter are being conveyed in a suspended manner, over two elongate scraper bodies which rotate about respective rotation axes, each of the scraper bodies comprising at least one scraper element, wherein, due to the rotation of the two scraper bodies, gizzard fat which is present on a gizzard wall is separated from the gizzard by the scraper elements while the gizzard is being pulled, and collecting the gizzard fat which has been separated from the gizzard of the successive clusters of viscera.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a cover for a poultry container for holding live poultry, comprising: two substantially parallel guides; plural longitudinal supports, on opposite sides moveable connected to the guides; a flexible cover sheet, connected to the longitudinal supports; wherein the parallel guides are provided with preferred holding locations for preferred positioning of the longitudinal supports onto the guides. The invention also relates to a poultry container including such a cover as well as to a poultry container assembly of plural stacked poultry containers.
Abstract:
A method for eviscerating slaughtered poultry having a carcass (1) with a viscera pack (19) in a body cavity of the carcass, wherein the body cavity has been opened at the vent end. The method comprises: - retaining the carcass in an orientation with the neck end downwards, - entering the body cavity of the retained carcass with an eviscerating tool (40) via the opened vent end, said eviscerating tool having a front end (41), - dipping the eviscerating tool deeper into the body cavity with its front end passing along the breast side (4) of the body cavity so that the front end thereof moves past the viscera pack at least till beyond the liver (15), - withdrawing the eviscerating tool (40) and thereby lifting the viscera pack (19) out of the body cavity. Use is made of a gizzard pre-lifting tool (60;90), distinct from the eviscerating tool (40), which is entered into the body cavity of the retained carcass via the opened vent end, which gizzard pre-lifting tool is operated to grasp the gizzard (14) and/or belly fat (17) bonded to the gizzard and which gizzard pre-lifting too is operated to lift the gizzard thereby entraining a further portion (15,16) of the viscera pack, said lifting of the gizzard being performed prior to the front end of the eviscerating tool passing along the breast side of the body cavity past the liver (15) as the eviscerating tool (40) is dipped into the body cavity.
