A method for fusing a transferable image (16) to a face (22) of a digital disc (18) and a lamination jacket (24). In the method, a transferable image (16) is printed onto a transfer support (10). The transferable image (16) is registered against the face (22) of a digital disc (18) to provide a transfer support-digital disc pair (20). The transferable image is roller laminated to the face of the digital disc. The transferable image and face of the digital disc are kept in registry during the roller laminating (D). The lamination jacket (24) is for use in transporting a transfer support bearing a transferable image and a digital disc through the nip (30) between a pair of compliant rollers (28) to heat and pressure fuse the transferable image to the face of the digital disc. The lamination jacket has an insert. A shell is joined to the insert. The shell is exterior to the insert. The shell and insert define a pocket for closely receiving the digital disc. The lamination jacket has at least one guide for registering the digital disc and transfer support within the pocket.

The present invention provides a method of resurfacing a pressure member in a printer having a fuser member that is externally heated by a heater roller. The method includes providing a pressure member having an outer surface of a high temperature fluorothermoplastic. When it is determined that the outer surface is in need of resurfacing, the fuser member is removed from the printer, and the pressure member is mounted in the place of the fuser member. The pressure member is rotated at a speed of at least 1 rpm while engaging the outer surface of the fuser member with the heating roller normally used to heat the fuser member at a pressure of at least 5 psi at a temperature of at least 10°C below the fluorothermoplastic melting temperature for a time sufficient to resurface of the outer surface of the pressure member.

The sheet has a literature portion bearing a fused toner image and a transfer portion bearing a transferable toner image. The transferable toner image and the face of a digital disc are placed in registration and the transferable toner image is fused to the face of the digital disc. The literature portion is configured for inclusion with the digital disc. The digital disc and literature are assembled.
