    Abstract: The present invention provides a composition comprising a biologically pure culture of a Paenibacillus sp. strain or a cell-free preparation thereof comprising a fusaricidin and a tridecaptin; wherein the fusaricidin is produced with a fusaricidin synthetase gene of fusA encoded by a DNA sequence exhibiting at least 90.5% sequence identity to SEQ ID NO: 3; and the tridecaptin is produced with a nonribosomal peptide synthetase (NRPS) gene of triE encoded by a DNA sequence exhibiting at least 90.0% sequence identity to SEQ ID NO: 7. Also provided are methods of treating an agricultural plant to control a disease and methods of increasing the vigor and/or crop yield of an agricultural plant with the disclosed compositions.

    Abstract: A mixing assembly (10) includes a drum (11) including a side wall (13), a top portion (15), and a bottom portion (17), in which the top portion (15) includes a first opening (19) for filling a substance into the drum (11), a second opening (12) for mixing the substance in the drum (11), and a third opening (14) for extracting the substance from the drum (11); and a mixer (105) releasably disposed in the drum (11), including a head (109) releasably attached to the second opening (12) for mixing, in which the head (109) includes a housing including an internal hollow region extending along the central axis of the head (109), and external threads configured to be attached to the second opening (12) for mixing by thread engagement, a shaft (107) disposed in the hollow region, and an impeller assembly (114) disposed at a bottom end of the shaft (107) for stirring the substance in the drum. The mixing assembly (10) also includes a a sump (16) that is substantially vertically aligned with the third opening (14) for extracting, wherein the bottom portion (17) is sloped toward the sump (16) so that the substance will flow along the sloped bottom portion (17) into the sump (16), wherein the sump (16) comprises a base defining a lowest surface of the bottom portion (17) so that the sump (16) will receive the substance that flows from the sloped bottom portion (17).

    Abstract: Systems and methods for generating crop yield maps are provided, in one example embodiment, a method can include accessing, by one or more processors, data indicative of crop yield for a field area; and accessing, by the one or more processors, one or more data types associated with the field area. Each of the data types can provide a geospatial distribution of data associated with vegetation across the field area. The method can further include determining, by the one or more processors, a crop yield distribution for the field area based at least in part on the data indicative of crop yield and the one or more data types; and generating, by the one or more processors, a yield map for the field area based at least in part on the crop yield distribution.
